With the rapid development of economy,the problems of resource shortage and environmental pollution are becoming increasingly serious,and countries around the world are paying more attention to energy conservation and environmental protection.Remanufacturing and carbon emission reduction can save resources and reduce environmental pollution,which is an important way to solve the current environmental degradation problem and achieve sustainable development.Based on the background that third-party remanufacturers need authorization from the original equipment manufacturer to engage in remanufacturing activities,and that the government can implement strong policy measures to promote enterprises to invest in carbon emission reduction technology,it is of important theoretical and practical significance to study the impact of different government subsidy strategies under patent protection on the original equipment manufacturer’s carbon emission reduction investment strategies and remanufacturing decisions.Based on the carbon emission reduction investment of original equipment manufacturers and the remanufacturing activities of third-party remanufacturers,considering patent protection,government technology subsidies,and emission reduction subsidies,this thesis studies the carbon emission reduction investment strategies of original equipment manufacturers,remanufacturing decisions under patent protection,and the selection of government subsidy strategies in three parts.In the first part,considering the carbon emission reduction investment of original equipment manufacturers,the carbon emission reduction investment strategies and remanufacturing decisions of original equipment manufacturers without patent protection and with patent protection are studied.The results show that patent authorization can help reduce the starting conditions for carbon emission reduction by original equipment manufacturers.Only when remanufacturing production costs are low,or when remanufacturing production costs are high,and consumers’ sensitivity to emission reductions is above a certain threshold,patent authorization allows the original equipment manufacturer to invest more in carbon emission reduction,otherwise the original equipment manufacturer will invest more in carbon emission reduction without patent protection.The profits of original equipment manufacturers with patent protection are always higher than those without patent protection.In the second part,based on remanufacturing patent protection and carbon emission reduction investment by original equipment manufacturers,the carbon emission reduction investment strategies and remanufacturing decisions of original equipment manufacturers under two modes of government technology subsidies and emission reduction subsidies are studied.The results show that only when consumers’ sensitivity to emission reduction is low and the subsidy rate is lower than a specific threshold,emission reduction subsidies can increase the enthusiasm of original equipment manufacturers for carbon emission reduction,otherwise,technology subsidies can enhance the enthusiasm of original equipment manufacturers for carbon emission reduction.When the subsidy rate is low,the profit of the original equipment manufacturer when the government implements emission reduction subsidies is higher than that when the technology subsidies are implemented.When consumers are less sensitive to emission reduction,remanufacturing profits under technology subsidies are higher than those under emission reduction subsidies.In the third part,based on recycling constraints and carbon emission reduction investment by original equipment manufacturers,patent protection,government technology subsidies,and emission reduction subsidies are considered,and carbon emission reduction investment strategies and remanufacturing decisions by original equipment manufacturers are discussed.The results show that the starting conditions for remanufacturing by remanufacturers under emission reduction subsidies are lower than those under technical subsidies.When the government subsidy rate is high,technology subsidies make the original equipment manufacturers more active in carbon emission reduction,otherwise,emission reduction subsidies can more enhance the original equipment manufacturers’ enthusiasm for carbon emission reduction.When the government subsidy rate is low,the profit of the original equipment manufacturer when the government implements the emission reduction subsidy is higher than the profit when the technology subsidy is implemented.
