| Ancient lock,as a symbol of Chinese ancient culture and life,conveys ethics and aesthetics and good wishes of Chinese people.Especially the fancy and jewelry ones,with numerous models which contain rich propitious connotations and reflect folk culture,have formed a traditional culture with Chinese characteristics.With the development of society,economy and culture which has highly improved people’s living standard,now we are seeking for aesthetic needs,personality display – those mental things more than basic daily physical requirements.Reflected in clothes culture,this trend brings about the popularity of humanism and emotional expression.As a result,lover’s clothes,one of the emotion-expressing clothes,are occupying more and more market share.In the future,lover’s clothes will combine fashionable and cultural elements,meet people’s needs of both emotional expression and aesthetic need with Chinese traditional elements and modern art layout.Inspired by ancient Chinese lock elements,this paper aims for an innovative design of lovers’ clothing.It analyzes and summarizes the modeling aesthetics,pattern decoration and humanistic implication of ancient locks through the collection and reference of literature;and it seeks for design inspiration,and provides theoretical basis for design.From the perspective of cultural connotation,innovative elements,and the design significance of lover’s clothing,this paper explores the innovative application of the combination of ancient lock elements and couple clothing in culture,market and people’s emotional and aesthetic needs according to the current situation of the domestic couple clothing market and the needs of consumers as well as the trend of man’s and woman’s clothing.Combined with the design techniques and principles of lovers’ clothing,through the deconstruction and abstraction of the shape of ancient locks and its decorative patterns,this paper gives a series of innovative designs on clothes patterns,styles.Through the design of the combination of ancient Chinese locks and lovers’ clothes,it provides new and innovative design ideas for couple clothes,it also enables the ancient Chinese locks to be displayed in a new form to the public,so as to inherit the auspicious moral culture in the ancient Chinese locks. |
