| The pattern of children on ancient fabric has been popular for nearly one thousand years in the long history of Chinese pattern,and it is full of times imprints.From the children’s different body shapes and their hair styles,posterity can get a glimpse of the folk customs and cultural concepts of different times.This paper takes the boy pattern in ancient Chinese fabric as the research object,carefully combs its historical spread and practical application,and fully explores the whole process of its origin,evolution and prevalence from the perspective of historical development.This paper focuses on the following points:1.The interpretation of the related vocabulary and meaning of "Tong Zi" and briefly describes the rheology of this kind of pattern on the fabric;2.Analysis on the origin of children’s grain under the background of eastern and Western cultural integration in The Han and Tang Dynasties.Specifically,the similarities and differences,changes and connections of the boy’s modeling are analyzed from the image level,and the transformation process of the pattern from "transforming into a boy"to "connecting to give birth to your son"is discussed from the image level.3.Song and Yuan period of children grain auspicious meaning analysis.Based on the disassembly diagram of the combined elements,combined with the background of The Times,cultural environment and other factors to explore its strong folk flavor and unique aesthetic consciousness,and list analysis of the various shapes and changes in the pattern of bone type;4.The Ming and Qing dynasty patterns in the boy modeling and fabric technology summary.It focuses on the detailed classification of children’s rich and varied dynamic modeling,hairstyles and decorative clothing,and summarizes their artistic characteristics in this period.Combining with the practical application of textiles and from the perspective of fabric characteristics and technology,it shows the various weaving techniques of children’s patterns as well as the exquisite embroidery and printing and dyeing.After a long period of development and evolution,boy pattern in the Ming and Qing Dynasties presented an unprecedented flourishing situation,has been popular with the public.Boy pattern is deeply rooted in the cultural soil where the working people live in ancient China.Its appearance and application is a manifestation of the textile decorative art close to people’s life.Through the study of the cultural connotation,artistic aesthetics and social value behind the children’s pattern,it is found that the craftsmen of all dynasties still kept pace with The Times,brought forth the new and studied the skills tirelessly under the background of that time and place.This paper takes the boy pattern on the fabric as the research object,aiming to provide inspiration and design ideas for modern textile design while exploring and inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture.Modern craft design also needs not to forget the original aspiration,based on the people,so as to trigger the emotional resonance of the audience. |
