Water quality testing is an important means of water resources protection.The rapid and accurate detection of water resources is of great significance to protect human drinking water safety.With the continuous development of modern information technology,remote monitoring systems have been widely used in various fields of life.The effective monitoring of water resources through remote monitoring systems has also become the focus of research in recent years.In this study,a water quality monitoring system based on the Internet of Things is designed for the problems of fixed monitoring parameters,difficult system expansion and high power consumption of wireless nodes in the current water quality monitoring system.The work completed in this study mainly includes the following aspects.(1)In view of the shortcomings in the current water quality monitoring system,the overall design scheme of the system is proposed.The functions to be implemented by each module in the system are divided.The device selection was performed on the core hardware and water quality monitoring sensors used in the overall design.The core hardware circuits such as signal conditioning circuit,analog-to-digital conversion circuit,digital isolation circuit,RS485 circuit and power supply circuit are designed in the system.(2)Aiming at the power consumption of wireless transmission system,mainly in the process of wireless data transmission and reception,a transmission power adaptive adjustment algorithm is proposed to reduce the power consumption of wireless monitoring nodes.The algorithm mainly adjusts the wireless module according to the signal strength received by the wireless module.Transmit power to achieve the goal of reducing node power consumption.On this basis,the Modbus data frame structure of the wireless monitoring node is designed,and the transmit power adaptive adjustment algorithm is implemented in software.(3)The STM32 CubeMX software is used to configure the designed underlying hardware and middleware such as LwIP and FreeRTOS to generate system engineering files.The system software is designed on the basis of the system engineering file,and the data transmission between the monitoring node and the monitoring gateway,the monitoring gateway and the monitoring center is realized.Finally,the human-computer interaction interface is designed to realize the visual display and remote control function of the water quality monitoring system data.Data saving and history viewing are implemented through a database or a local TXT document.(4)The designed water quality monitoring system was systematically tested and the test results were given.The test results show that the system can realize data acquisition,data processing,remote transmission and control,data storage,intelligent alarm and other functions in the monitored area.And the adaptive adjustment algorithm can effectively reduce the power consumption of the wireless monitoring node and prolong the life cycle of the node.
