Environmental Regulation,Green Technology Innovation And Performance Of Resource-based Enterprises Influence

At present,it is necessary to promote the new strategy of green economy development and explore its systematic,related and comprehensive high-quality development path to build a beautiful China.Since the reform and opening up,the long-term,large-scale and high-intensity production of resource-based enterprises has made outstanding contributions to the rapid growth of China’s national economy.However,with the increasingly prominent contradictions brought about by environmental pollution and resource exhaustion,the disadvantages of extensive development model have been fully revealed.Environmental control is becoming increasingly strict.Resource-based enterprises should consider environmental benefits while pursuing economic benefits.Green technology innovation is an important means for resource-based enterprises to achieve this goal.On the one hand,optimize the production process of resource-based enterprises,seize market share and create economic benefits;on the other hand,resource-based enterprises must bear the responsibility of environmental protection,improve the utilization rate of resources,and achieve the environmental goal of energy conservation and consumption reduction.Therefore,in the context of environmental regulation,it is very important to study the relationship between green technology innovation and enterprise performance of resource-based enterprises,so as to improve the comprehensive economic and environmental performance of resource-based enterprises and achieve high-quality development.In this paper,the economic performance and environmental performance of resource-based enterprises are brought into the same system,and the relationship among environmental regulation,green technology innovation and resource-based enterprise performance is studied.First of all,this paper expounds the relevant theoretical basis,and puts forward research hypotheses on the direct impact of environmental regulation,green technology innovation on the performance of resource-based enterprises and the role of environmental regulation in the relationship between green technology innovation and the performance of resource-based enterprises.Then,taking 2009-2018 A-share resource-based listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen as samples,using stata15.0 software to analyze the sample data and test the research hypothesis of this paper.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)From the perspective of economic performance,environmental regulation will increase the environmental protection investment and operation cost of resource-based enterprises,while green technology innovation can optimize the production process and resource allocation of resource-based enterprises,seize market share through the production of high value-added products,and effectively improve the economic performance of enterprises.(2)From the perspective of environmental performance,in the context of environmental regulation,resource-based enterprises’ performance of environmental responsibility improves the comprehensive income of enterprises in economic,social and environmental aspects.(3)Green technology innovation is still an effective means for resource-based enterprises to improve environmental performance,so as to achieve high-quality development of resource-based enterprises.(4)Environmental regulation plays a regulatory role in the relationship between green technology innovation and resource-based enterprise performance.Environmental regulation can effectively regulate the relationship between the self-interest of resource-based enterprises and the construction of ecological civilization,and achieve a win-win situation between the economic development of resource-based enterprises and environmental protection.Based on the above conclusions,this paper studies the relationship among environmental regulation,green technology innovation and resource-based enterprises,which provides a theoretical basis for the transformation and upgrading of resource-based enterprises and a reference for government decision-making.Focus on two dimensions of enterprise and government,put forward policy suggestions:(1)enterprise level.Improve the environmental management level of resource-based enterprises,establish the concept of green development,increase investment in green research and development,and improve the level of green technology innovation of resource-based enterprises.(2)At the government level.Accurately formulate environmental control policies,establish and improve environmental information disclosure mechanism,and Improve the environment index quantification system of resource-based enterprises.It provides more extensive empirical data for the study of the mechanism of environmental regulation and green technology innovation on the performance of resource-based enterprises.
