With the rapid development of China’s port fuel transportation industry,port oil spill incidents occur frequently.The oil spill accident poses a serious threat to the marine environment and coastal economic development.In view of the characteristics of strong sudden and great harm of oil spill,oil spill emergency is particularly important.As an important device for oil spill emergency containment,the existing air curtain oil containment boom has the following problems:(1)when ships enter or leave the port,the height of the air curtain pipe can not be adjusted automatically so that the ships can pass smoothly(2)The actual sea conditions are complex and changeable,so it is impossible to dynamically adjust the parameters of gas curtain pipeline according to the changes of real-time oil containment effect(3)The theoretical formula or experience to control the effect of oil containment is not summarized,which can not provide optimization guidance for the next step of oil containment work.According to the requirements of the control system of the air curtain oil containment process,this paper designs the automatic control system with FX5 U PLC as the core controller in view of the above shortcomings.And the application of fuzzy PID algorithm in the submergence depth control of air curtain pipeline is studied with the air curtain oil containment distance as the control target based on the shortcomings of the traditional air curtain oil boom,the overall design method is formulated.The whole air curtain oil containment boom device combined with the automatic control system provides an efficient method for the oil containment process.In order to achieve the accuracy and stability of the oil containment distance,this paper first analyzes the development status of the air curtain type air curtain oil containment boom,and proposes an automatic control method based on Fuzzy PID algorithm to optimize the submergence depth and oil containment distance of the air curtain oil containment,and optimizes the control parameters through MATLAB /Simulink simulation.Secondly,PID control and fuzzy PID control are studied respectively for the oil containment distance in the process of air curtain oil containment.Compared with the conventional PID control,the fuzzy PID control has smaller overshoot,reaches the stable period earlier,and has no obvious oscillation phenomenon in the stable region.Finally,the data transmission communication structure between MATLAB and PLC controller is established based on OPC communication protocol,and MATLAB is used as OPC client.MATLAB / Simulink reads the oil containment distances from the OPC read port,compares them with the set value,and calculates the error and the change rate of the error.The simulation results of MATLAB / Simulink are used as control variables,which are transmitted to PLC control system through OPC write module to control the lower computer PLC and complete the operation process.The whole control process from data acquisition to the end is closed-loop,and most of the process can be automated,which plays a positive role in improving the level of marine anti-pollution and the application of air curtain oil containment boom.
