Investigation On The Knowledge,Attitude And Behavior Of College Students In Zhaoqing Area On Sports Hazards In Dust-Haze Weather

Objective To understand the current situation of preventive behaviors in sports taken by college students during dust-haze weather in Zhaoqing area and to discuss the influencing factors,this thesis analyzes college students’ current cognition of the knowledge,causes,hazards and health attitude about dust-haze in Zhaoqing area,discusses the relationship with protective behaviors,and clarifies the effect of each factor on the protective behaviors by collecting questionnaires,so as to provide suggestions and references for college students in the insufficient cognition and protective behavior about dust-haze.MethodConvenient sampling is adopted.From September to October in 2019,three institutions of higher learning in Zhaoqing area are randomly selected,and these 750 students are freshmen and sophomores.A questionnaire which contains basic knowledge,causes,hazards,attitude and protective behaviors about doing sports in dust-haze weather is prepared for college students in Zhaoqing area.SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 24.0 are applied to analyze the data.The descruotuve statu statistical method is used for the grades of different dimensions,Mann-Whitney U test is used for the comparison of two independent samples,and Kruskal-Wallis H test is used for the comparison of multiple independent samples.ResultsLA total of 750 questionnaires were sent out and 681 were effectively received,with an effective rate of 90.8%.The number of medical students,sports students,science students and engineering students account for 37.3%,12.3%,11.0%and 39.4%respectively;the exercise frequencies which are once,once to twice and more than three times take up 7.3%,44.1%and 48.6%respectively;the exercise time which is longer than 30 minutes each time is 72.2%.2.The excellent rates of three kinds of cognition,the health attitude and the protective behaviors about dust-haze in the three institutions of higher learning in Zhaoqing area are 4.7%,6.8%,11.9%,24.5%and 16.9%respectively.3.Univariate analysis shows that gender,exercise times per week,exercise duration,and residence location are not associated with the motivation to take protective behaviors,so there is no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Discipline is related to the motivation to take protective behaviors,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The results of disordered logistic regression analysis shows that the protective behavior scores of medical students and engineering students are higher than those of science students(OR=0.326,OR=0.286),and there is no difference between the protective behavior scores of sports students and medical students:The protective behavior scores increase accordingly as the three cognitive scores of dust-haze increase.5.The path analysis shows that the cognition of the basic knowledge,causes and hazards of dust-haze can be used to directly predict the protection level of college students in Zhaoqing area,and the path coefficients are 0.136,0.182 and 0.198,respectively.The protection level can not be directly predicted by the health attitude,but it can be predicted indirectly through hazard cognition,and the indirect path coefficient is 0.053.The hazard cognition can also be regarded as a cause cognition to predict the mediating variables of protective behaviors,and the mediating effect accounts for 29.5%of the total effect.Conclusions1.When doing sports in dust-haze weather,the protective behaviors taken by college students in Zhaoqing area is at a relatively low level,their cognition of the basic knowledge,causes and hazards about dust-haze is at a relatively low level,but their health attitude towards dust-haze is at a relatively high level.2.When doing sports in dust-haze weather,the protective behavior level of college students in Zhaoqing area did not improve with the increase of the times and duration of exercise per week.Different disciplines are independent predictors of protective behaviors.3.The basic knowledge,cause cognition and harm cognition of dust-haze can directly predict the effect on the protection behaviors.4.The cause cognition of dust-haze and the health attitude of the college students can indirectly predict their protective behaviors through hazard cognition.
