Research On The Intervention Of Social Work In Rural Domestic Waste Classification From The Perspective Of Advocacy

In modern society,the problem of garbage has become one of the problems that perplex our ecological governance.In recent years,while maintaining stable economic growth,China has paid more and more attention to ecological environment.From 2019 to the end of 2020,46 key cities have been selected for waste classification,and the urban waste classification and treatment system will be basically built,but the progress of rural waste classification is very slow.According to statistics: in 2017,the output of rural garbage in China was 5.009 billion tons,and the domestic garbage was 227 million tons.In 2019,the rural garbage has increased to5.22 billion tons,and the domestic garbage is 299 million tons.One quarter of these rural domestic garbage has not been properly treated,so the problem of rural garbage treatment is imminent.At present,with the aggravation of rural waste pollution and the overall management of urban and rural environment,waste classification,as a resource management technology of modern waste treatment,has been introduced into the village and become an effective way of rural waste management.According to the relevant research shows that: garbage classification in rural areas has a late advantage,garbage classification system can fit well with rural areas,but also can provide reference for the optimization of urban residents garbage classification governance mechanism.From the perspective of social advocacy,this paper uses the cause advocacy model to intervene in the domestic waste classification of D village,so as to launch advocacy action.Firstly,through literature analysis,social workers summarized and analyzed the domestic and foreign literature on waste classification management,social workers’ involvement in rural waste classification,and domestic and foreign social work advocacy research.Secondly,through questionnaire survey and interview,they analyzed the villagers’ demand for D village domestic waste classification and the existing problems of waste classification,so as to formulate the intervention goal of advocacy action.Third,in the practice stage of advocacy action,social workers combined with group and community work methods,used the social work cause advocacy model to promote the implementation of rural domestic waste classification.Fourthly,in the evaluation stage,social workers evaluate the cause advocacy action from three dimensions: process evaluation,result evaluation and impact evaluation.Finally,through the reflection and summary of the whole process of advocacy,we can think about how to better use advocacy skills and localize the advocacy model,so as to provide the possibility of applying social work advocacy to more fields in the future.
