In the face of the great strategic policy of modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature issued by the state,each responsible subject should undertake its corresponding responsibilities.Enterprises bear the unshirkable responsibility in maintaining the ecological environment and promoting the construction of a beautiful China,and the behavior of each employee is an important factor driving the overall behavior trend of enterprises.Therefore,in order to improve the overall green level of the enterprise,we should first grasp the behavior of each employee.By combing the literature,it is found that from the perspective of employees themselves,their motivation in the workplace is a key link that drives them to make certain behaviors.As an individual’s appeal for their own image,impression management motivation may affect some behaviors of employees to a certain extent.Green self-efficacy,as the performance and confidence of individual environmental protection ability,also plays an important role in the relationship between impression management motivation and the mechanism of employee green behavior.Therefore,this study based on the social analysis theory and the theory of resource conservation,impression management motive as independent variables,discusses relationship between impression management motive and green employee behavior,first of all,clear impression management motive promote or inhibit effect of employees’ green action,and then on the basis of introducing green self-efficacy this adjustment variables,Verify that when employees have the ability and confidence to engage in green behavior,whether it can strengthen the occurrence of their behavior.In this study,variable dimensions suitable for Chinese situations were selected,and impression management motivation was divided into two dimensions: acquisition impression management motivation and defensive impression management motivation;Employee green behavior can be divided into two dimensions: task-related green behavior and employee voluntary green behavior.Through combing the previous literature,the research model and hypothesis are obtained.Then the questionnaire method and empirical analysis method are used to collect and analyze the data,and on this basis,the research conclusions are drawn,and the practical suggestions for the development of enterprises are put forward.The empirical analysis results show that impression management motivation can positively influence employee green behavior.Green,self-efficacy in impression management motive and voluntary green behavior and defensive impression management motive and employees’ tasks related to green behavior between positive adjustment,and in the type of impression management motive and employee tasks related to green behavior and defensive impression management motive and voluntary adjustment was not significant between green behavior.The results showed that both impression management motivation and green self-efficacy could positively influence employees’ green behavior to varying degrees.Therefore,in the practice of enterprises,the starting point should be to stimulate employees’ impression management motivation and cultivate employees’ green self-efficacy,which should not only lead the corporate culture that pays attention to employees’ image and corporate image,but also improve employees’ environmental protection vision and environmental protection ability. |
