Research On Environmental Performance Evaluation Of Thermal Power Enterprise Under The Background Of The Green Development

China has put forward the concept of Green Development.Green development calls for upholding the principle of harmonious development between man and nature,and striving to achieve high-quality and sustainable development.The state has made a lot of environmental protection policies and enterprises have done a lot of environmental protection work.Therefore,in order to intuitively grasp the efficiency of enterprise environmental management and find the direction of the next step of environmental management work for enterprises,a complete and scientific environmental performance evaluation system is needed to evaluate the performance of enterprise environmental management.The society lacks an environmental performance evaluation system,and there are few relevant researches in the field of environmental performance evaluation for enterprises.It is necessary to strengthen the awareness of environmental protection.Therefore,the research on enterprise environmental performance evaluation system has important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,the thermal power industry in the heavily polluting industry was selected to construct the environmental performance evaluation system,and the relevant data of 20 listed companies with major thermal power generation from 2014 to 2019 were manually sorted out.Based on the established evaluation model,the evaluation model was calculated and analyzed,and the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the environmental management of enterprises were put forward according to the measurement results.Firstly,the literature related to environmental performance was sorted out to lay a theoretical foundation for the study.Secondly,the common methods of environmental performance are compared and analyzed,and the DEA method,which is used to study the environmental performance of thermal power generation enterprises.Select thermal power generation enterprises,observe the completion of environmental protection work of enterprises.It is selected in this paper,and the environmental performance evaluation system of thermal power generation enterprises is constructed according to the DEA method.Thirdly,the results are obtained by sorting out the relevant data of thermal power generation enterprises from 2014 to 2019,and used DEA method to conduct static evaluation and analysis on the environmental efficiency of sample enterprises from 2014 to 2019.Then,the Malmquist index method is used to evaluate the dynamic environmental efficiency of the sample data.From 2014 to 2019,the differences of environmental efficiency among thermal power plants gradually narrowed;The comprehensive technical efficiency of thermal power generation enterprises has not reached full effectiveness.The development of thermal power generation enterprises tends to be stable,but it still has great development potential.From the results of dynamic evaluation,it is concluded that the development of environmental efficiency of thermal power generation enterprises is mainly driven by the technological progress of the thermal power generation industry,environmental efficiency is not easy to change unless the way the environment is managed is changed,and the pure technical efficiency is the main reason that hinders the improvement of technical efficiency.Finally,the comprehensive evaluation results show that the next step to optimize the environmental performance of enterprises is to improve the pure technical efficiency,so,enterprises to improve the level of environmental management must strengthen environmental governance.Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions for enterprises and government to improve the environmental performance of enterprises are put forward.It is suggested that enterprises raise environmental awareness,do not damage the environment,pay attention to internal environmental management,and achieve cleaner production,improve the mode of environmental information disclosure,and optimize the investment decision of enterprises.It is suggested that the government should improve the policies and regulations for green development,establish the environmental performance assessment system for enterprises,improve the environmental information disclosure system,and coordinate the promotion of environmental research work.
