Research On Government Promoting The Construction Of Ecological Cities

President Xi Jinping made the proposal in his report to the 19 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC)clearly stated that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.The people’s need for a better life is first of all a yearning for a better living environment,and the construction of an ecological city came into being.At present,there have been relatively successful eco-cultural cities in first-tier cities in China.At present,domestic first-tier cities such as Beijing and Shanghai are already actively creating ecological cities.However,there are no good construction cases in fourth-tier cities in China.This paper takes Zhoukou city,which is located in the southeast of Henan province and has a relatively weak economic foundation but has made achievements in the construction of ecological cities,as a case study to analyze and discuss it.In the construction of an ecological city,the government strengthens the top-level design and policy support internally,expands publicity to increase its influence externally,and promotes the construction of an ecological city in Zhoukou City in all directions.This paper takes eco-city governance theory,new public management theory and sustainable development theory as guidance,and conducts systematic research on the government’s promotion of Zhoukou’s eco-city construction.From the obstacles of traditional eco-city development concepts,the government’s guidance to residents is insufficient The ecological construction environment is imperfect,and the system is not perfect.It will elaborate on the successful cases of constructing ecological cities at home and abroad through analysis and reference,combined with the actual development of Zhoukou City,and promoting the ecology of Zhoukou City Government from the perspective of government guidance.The city construction proposes optimization countermeasures.Since the Zhoukou city government promoted the construction of ecological engineering projects,initial results have been achieved.The area of green space has increased,and the continuous upgrade of the residents ’good life experience has strongly promoted the construction of ecological cities.This paper analyzes the successful cases of eco-city construction at home and abroad from the perspective of administrative management.It proposes optimization strategies for the Zhoukou city government to promote eco-city construction.It also provides a theoretical basis and reference value for governments in other underdeveloped regions to promote city construction.
