| Safety accidents in the construction industry are happened frequently,and construction safety education for front-line construction workers is one of the important means to reduce the accidents probability.However,the safety education carried out by construction companies is just a formality and even lacks safety education for new workers.The effect of construction safety education is not significant.An important reason for the above phenomenon is the poor initiative of construction workers to participate in safety education.At the same time,due to the low cultural level,poor safety quality,and high mobility of construction workers in China,construction workers have not formed safety awareness,and it is difficult to develop safety behavior habits,which has affected the initiative of construction workers to participate in safety education.Therefore,it is necessary to study how to improve the initiative of construction workers to participate in safety education,in order to improve the unsafe behavior of construction workers,help workers raise safety awareness,reduce the probability of safety accidents,and protect the safety of construction workers.For this reason,this study adopts a research method combining actual investigation and theoretical analysis to study the influencing factors and influencing mechanism of construction workers’ participation in safety education.First,by consulting relevant literature,interviewing construction workers in multiple places,based on behavioral safety theory,safety cognitive psychology theory and learning motivation theory,the factors that affect the initiative of construction workers to participate in safety education are classified and identified,and then divided Internal influence factors and external influence factors,select 6 observation indicators of enterprise safety management level,safety training quality,worker safety quality,safety investment and reward strength,construction safety environment and government safety supervision,a total of 28 influence factors.The method of Likert five Survey adopt to the investigation of construction workers,then use SPSS and AMOS software to perform reliability and factor analysis on the recovered data,establish a hypothetical structural equation model(SEM)and modify it.Finally,we obtain the influencing factors for construction workers to participate in safety education initiatives The influence of the path coefficient of sex.The research conclusions of this article show that:(1)The analysis of the concept of construction safety education,the analysis of the connotation of learning motivation,and the speciality of construction safety education.Firstly,by consulting the literature and related materials,the concept of safety pedagogy and the mechanism of safety education training are obtained.The differences between safety education for construction workers and general school education are clarified.The training objects,training content,training mode,and training environment of construction safety education are unique.(2)The status quo of safety education in building construction in China is summarized through surveys.There are no standards for safety education funding sources,imbalance in supply and demand of safety education institutions,small training coverage,low initiative for construction workers to participate in safety education,incomplete government safety supervision system,and poor training results.And other issues.On this basis,the influencing factors that affect the initiative of construction workers to participate in safety education are summarized into six levels:enterprise safety management level,safety training quality,worker safety quality,safety investment and reward strength,construction safety environment and government safety supervision factors.And make a five-level questionnaire to investigate.(3)Analysis of the influential factors and mechanisms of construction workers’ participation in safety education.By processing the questionnaire data,a structural equation hypothesis model is established and its influence path is fitted.It was found that the four factors of safety training quality,workers’ own safety quality,safety investment and rewards,and government safety supervision had a significant impact on workers’ initiative to participate in safety education,and proposed strategies to promote construction workers’ participation in safety education. |
