The Ningxia key ecological zone function area is a deeply impoverished area with poor natural ecological conditions in China.Improving the ability of farmers to develop independently is an important means and way to get rid of poverty in the region,achieve rural revitalization and sustainable development.In order to explore the characteristics of farmers’ independent development capabilities in Ningxia’s "key ecological function zones(restricted development of ecological zones)",this paper takes 7 counties in Ningxia key ecological function zones as research units,based on Amartya Sen’s viable capabilities and endogenous growth theory.Integrate field survey data and literature data to build an indicator system for independent development ability of farmers,evaluate the independent development ability of farmers in the study area,and use geographic detectors and binary logistic regression methods to analyze the environment and livelihoods of key ecological functional areas in Ningxia and in different villages Identify the influential factors of farmers ’independent development ability,and propose countermeasures to improve the farmers’ independent development ability level,and provide decision-making reference for revitalizing the construction of key ecological function zones in Ningxia,especially restricting the development of ecological zones for farmers to get rid of poverty and become rich.research shows:(1)Entropy weight way and other means were used to estimate the level of independent development ability of farmers.It was found that the index of independent development ability of farmers in plain villages was relatively high,ranging from 0.1464 to 0.1505.The capacity index is between 0.0993 and 0.1489,and the farmer households in mountainous villages have relatively weak independent development capabilities.The self-care development ability index is between 0.0769 and 0.1096.The higher potential of farmers’ independent development potential is Hongqi Village,Yanghe Township,Longde County,Mahuangshan Village,Mahuangshan Township,Yanchi County,and Nangou Formation of Xitan Township,Xiji County.They are 0.0675,0.0609 and 0.0604 respectively.The lower ones are Wangtang Village,Jiatang Township,Haiyuan County,Nuanshui Village,Xiangshou Town,Wuyuan County,and Wushan Village,Chengguan Town,Longde County,0.0288,0.0322,and 0.0332,respectively.Compared with other villages,the farmers’ independent development awareness index is higher than Wushan Village,Chengguan Town,Longde County,and Chengyang Village,Chengyang Township,Pengyang County,with 0.0451 and 0.0408 respectively.The lowest are Nanliang Village and Gaoxin,Gaoshawo,Yanchi County.The county’s Zhengerzhuang Village,Xiamaguan Town,the villagers’ independent development awareness index is only 0.0237 and 0.0240,respectively.The highest social public space index is Nanliang Village,Gaoshawo,Yanchi County,and Zhengerzhuang Village,Xiamaguan Town,Tongxin County,with 0.0856 and 0.0816,respectively.Shagang Village,Huoshizhai Township,Xiji County,and Mahuangshan Village,Mahuangshan Township,Yanchi County The spatial indices are relatively low,being 0.0240 and 0.0252,respectively.(2)There is a difference between the overall index of independent development ability of farmers and different types of ability indexes for different types of livelihood strategies.In general,the independent development ability of non-agricultural farmers and non-agricultural-led farmers is higher,which are 0.1143 and 0.1249,respectively.Agricultural-led farmers and pure-farm farmers have lower independent development capability indexes,which are 0.0997 and 0.0962,respectively.Among them,the non-agricultural farmers and non-agricultural-led farmers have lower independent development potential,awareness and social public space indexes than non-agricultural-led Farmers and pure farmers.(3)There is a big difference between the total value of farmers ’independent development ability of different types of key ecological function zones and the value of various types of farmers’ independent development ability.The key ecological function zones of conservation type are medium,while the key ecological function zones of conservation type are lower.The level of independent development of farmers in the same type of key ecological function zone is also slightly different.However,in general,the independent development ability of farmers in the key ecological function areas of Ningxia is low,ranging from 0.932 to 0.1363,and the potential value of independent development of farmers is low,ranging from 0.0381 to 0.0599;the awareness of farmers’ independent development is relatively weak,ranging from 0.0210 to 0.0308;the value of social public space is generally low,ranging from 0.0213 to 0.0572.(4)By constructing a geological probe model to explore the influencing factors of farmers’independent development capabilities in key ecological function zones in Ningxia,it is concluded that the topographic factors>labor force number>per capita net income>labor force education level>labor income.Among them,X29,X1 significance test p<0.01,which shows that the topographical factors and per capita net income have a significant driving force for farmers’independent development ability.(5)Through the construction of a binary logistic regression model,the influential factors of the independent development ability of farmers in different village environments and different types of livelihood strategies are explored:labor income,farm income,communication costs,number of trips,social interaction costs,distance from the city Center distance,medical expenses,average years of family labor education,and per capita net income have a certain effect on the ability of non-agricultural-led farmers to develop independently;income from work,income from farming,communication,social interaction,and takeaway of major agricultural and pastoral products Rate,I intend to expand the existing production scale,annual precipitation,labor force,average years of family labor education,per capita arable land area and terrain have a certain effect on the ability of non-agricultural farmers to develop autonomously;communication costs,the number of trips away The farmer intends to expand the existing production scale,intends to participate in more technical training,accumulated activity,medical expenses,the average number of years of family labor education,education expenditure,machinery investment,and per capita net income have a certain degree of independent development ability for agricultural-led farmers.Impact;labor income,Agricultural income,satisfaction with one’s own life,take-out rate of main agricultural and pastoral products,accumulated temperature of activity,number of labor force,average number of years of family labor force education,topography,and area of cash crop planting have certain effects on the independent development ability of pure agricultural farmers effect;The factors affecting the independent development ability of farmers in different village types are shown as the number of laborers,the average number of years of family labors educated,the number of families receiving technical training per capita,the area of arable land per capita,the area of cash crops planted,machinery investment,per capita net income,farm income,Communication costs,social interaction costs,the plan to expand the existing production scale and distance from the city center are the key indicators affecting the independent development ability of farmers in mountainous villages.The average education duration of family labor,per capita arable land area,cash crop planting area,livestock capital,Per capita net income,labor income,communication costs,social interaction costs,the intention to expand the existing production scale,the accumulated temperature of activities and the distance from the city center have a significant effect on the independent development ability of farmers in hilly villages;the number of laborers,the average number of years of family labor education,The number of people educated,livestock capital,per capita net income,communication costs,frequency of shopping in the city,distance from the county seat and distance from the city center play a significant role in the independent development of farmers in Pingyuan Village.(6)It is proposed that the path selection of farmer households’ independent development capability and the countermeasures are to stimulate the farmers’ potential for independent development;to raise the farmers’ pillar development awareness;to appropriately increase the use of social public space.
