Hutubi,one of the counties of Xinjiang province,and possesses abundant coal mineral resources,is located in the central region of Xinjiang economic economic development plan.The characteristics of economic growth about this county mainly depends on the secondary industries such as chemical industry with coal as raw material and thermoelectric industry which leads to a lot of coal-fired heating boilers.Hutubi county,as the urban intersection center of Urumqi,Changji and Shihezi,the air quality condition will directly affect the "Wu-Chang-Shi"(that is,Urumqi-Changji-Shihezi)co-prevention and co-treatment of atmospheric regions.SO2 as the main pollutant control factor is listed as the focus of total control of environmental protection in Xinjiang.However,there are few studies on the variation of total emissions and causes of SO2 in Hutubi County.Therefore,through the analysis the air quality conditions of environment,the total SO2 emissions change and SO2 emissions on key industries etc.range from 2012 to 2016 about Hutubi county in this study.Basing on the research conclusions of variations regularity and causes of total SO2 emission,and proposes the control measures about SO2 pollute the atmosphere,with the expected of providing reference to the decision makers for the treatment of air environmental problems in Hutubi County.According to the research,the main conclusions are as follows:(1)The air quality conditions showed overall improvement trend range from 2012 to 2016.The average good days in 5 years was 324 days,and the average excellent rate was 89.5%.In 2016,the number of days with good air increased by 54 days compared with 2012,and the excellent rate increased by 95.04%.(2)In 2012-2016,the emission of SO2 in Hutubi County changed a lot.In 2013,SO2 emissions were the lowest,at 2279 t.In 2015,SO2 emissions were the highest,at 5679 t.In 2012-2015,the emission of SO2 in the atmosphere is mainly based on industrial sources,and industrial sources account for more than 50%of total emissions.In 2016,the proportion of SO2 emissions from industrial sources decreased significantly.The variation of total SO2 emission is consistent with the change law of SO2 industrial source.The industrial source directly affects the volatility of total SO2 emissions in this region,and the source of life has little effect on the fluctuation of annual SO2 emission.(3)The SO2 emissions from industrial sources such as coking industry,thermal power industry,food processing industry,bituminous coal and anthracite industry accounts for 80%in Hutubi county.Because of the diversity of government’s environmental protection policies,the annual variation of SO2 emissions in four industries is different,while the overall emissions is on the declined trend.(4)In view of the actual situation of SO2 emissions in Hutubi county,this paper proposes the prevention and control measures of SO2 emissions in the future in this region,mainly from the implementation of regional environmental access,strict implementation of national emission standards,optimization of energy structure,increase of environmental law enforcement and improvement of team building to promote of SO2 comprehensive prevention and control.
