Financial Performance Evaluation Of XB Pipeline Company Based On Analytic Hierarchy Process

Financial performance evaluation refers to the use of financial indicators to evaluate enterprise performance.In order to explore the business environment and judge the overall operation status of the enterprise,the company’s profit and resource management can be judged through performance evaluation.Managers can clearly understand the actual development of the enterprise and put forward relevant suggestions in time,so as to ensure that managers can judge the future of the company more accurately.If an enterprise wants to survive and develop,it needs to have a clear understanding of its own financial situation and operating results,so as to make a correct decision for the long-term development of the enterprise.China’s pipeline transportation industry is developing rapidly.In a short period of time,the total mileage of pipeline transportation is increasing rapidly,and the pipeline is also developing from the original line mode to the network mode.As a long-distance transportation tool,it has become the fifth largest transportation industry and an important way of land oil and gas transportation.The most frequently transported goods are oil and gas.In recent years,there are few researches on the financial performance evaluation of pipeline enterprises in China,so the data available for reference is very limited,and it is difficult to comprehensively,systematically and objectively reflect the financial performance of pipeline enterprises.Therefore,this paper chooses XB pipeline company as the research object,and analyzes and evaluates its financial performance by using the chromatography analysis method.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part describes the background of the pipeline transportation industry,combs the domestic and foreign financial performance evaluation,the selection of financial indicators and performance evaluation methods,and introduces the research content.The second part introduces the related concepts of financial performance evaluation and the research methods used in this paper.The third part introduces the basic situation of XB pipeline company,analyzes the financial situation of XB pipeline company in recent ten years from the four aspects of profitability,solvency,operation ability and development ability,and compares with PetroChina,Sinopec,enbridge and TransCanada,and finds out the advantages and disadvantages of XB pipeline company.The fourth part constructs the financial performance evaluation system of XB pipeline company,determines the index weight by using the analytic hierarchy process,compares the index with the industry standard value,and determines the comprehensive score of financial performance and the score of each index.The results show that XB pipeline company has good overall financial performance,strong profitability and operation ability,and relatively weak development and solvency.The fifth part puts forward reasonable suggestions according to the results of financial performance evaluation.
