A Study On The Contemporary Value Of Jingchu Folk Embroidery From The Perspective Of Traditional Crafts

In 2017,the State promulgated the "Chinese Traditional Crafts Revitalization Plan".The "ir-replaceability" mentioned in the document indicates the contemporary value of traditional crafts in traditional culture,social life and economic development,which has become one of the key topics in academic research.With the study of "the contemporary value of traditional craftsmanship",there is a theoretical way for scholars to explore the "ir-replaceability" of traditional craftsmanship.The research on "the contemporary value of Jingchu folk embroidery" is a further study of "the contemporary value of traditional craftsmanship".Jingchu folk embroidery,as a part of traditional craftsmanship,has its own unique contemporary value.Taking Jingchu folk embroidery as a research sample,the paper expounds its historical and cultural background and development status from ancient times to the present by literature research,field investigation,and case analysis.Taking the basic characteristics of Jingchu folk embroidery as "inside" and the expressions of contemporary value as "outside",the contemporary value of Jingchu folk embroidery is discussed.On the basis,how to better realize its contemporary value is analyzed,and the crux is that people ignore the cultural value of Jingchu folk embroidery.Focusing on its cultural values,the corresponding solutions are put forward.By sorting out the above content and combining the actual situation of the inheritors in contemporary life,this paper draws the following conclusions:First,Jingchu folk embroidery comes from the life in traditional agricultural society.To promote it to better enter contemporary life,it must be recognized that times are changing,and the lifestyle in the past is gone forever.To better realize the contemporary value of Jingchu folk embroidery,its basic characteristics determine that inheritors need to firmly inherit the culture of Jingchu region,actively adjust their own cognition of contemporary social development and changes,and enhance innovation capacity to adapt to contemporary life.Second,the expressions of contemporary value of Jingchu folk embroidery are based on its cultural value,which is reflected in the interaction between culture and emotion,thought,life and economy.The fundamental reason for the difference in value evaluation between inheritors and ordinary audiences is that they ignore the cultural value of Jingchu folk embroidery.To reach a consensus,they need to take a step forward,understand the excellent folk culture in Jingchu folk embroidery,and realize that "cultural value" is more important than economic value.Third,the inheritor does not need to cater to the mainstream aesthetics.Through precise positioning,fostering strengths and circumventing weaknesses,Jingchu folk embroidery can be accurately introduced to real enthusiasts,thereby they gather together to be a group of inheritors and maintain its continuity and long-term development.The local cultural environment consists of groups with a lot of inheritors.In order to better develop the Jingchu folk embroidery,we must pay attention to inheritors,increase their enthusiasm,create a healthy cultural atmosphere,and jointly inherit the culture of the Jingchu region.The critical reason for the survival of Jingchu folk embroidery in contemporary life is its cultural value,which is also the basis for the realization of its contemporary value.To study the folk embroidery work in Jingchu region as a whole is helpful to summarize its regional characteristics,and make a preliminary attempt for more comprehensive researches on folk embroidery work in the future.
