With the rapid development of China's economic society and multiculture,Sneaker culture has become a newly emerging and strong trend culture in consumer society.It also exhibits a certain scale of cultural forms with specific behavioral traits and spiritual core.The characteristics of its trendy culture make it popular among teenagers,especially college students,but from baudrillard's theory of consumer society,the sneaker culture is actually the product of symbol alienation.However,the phenomenon of symbol alienation behind the symbol consumption needs to be carefully treated,at the same time,we should combine the emotional value of sneaker culture with mainstream values,create new cultural symbols that can arouse the emotional resonance of the whole nation.In order to systematically analyze and understand this problem,this paper will use sociological research methods,with the help of relevant theoretical knowledge to study the alienation of symbols in consumer society.This paper is divided into the following four parts:The first part is the introduction of the background and significance of the topic,and related to the existing research results are reviewed.The existing research results are divided into two parts: the study of sneaker culture and the study of symbol alienation.On this basis,the concepts of sneaker-culture consumption society and symbol alienation are sorted out and defined,and the theoretical basis and research methods are expounded.The second part is an overview of sneaker culture.It analyzes the status quo of sneaker culture among college students in H city and summarizes types and characteristics from the background and development history of sneaker culture and the introduction of specific situations in China.The third part is based on Baudrillard's theory of consumer society,combining interview data and observation records to analyze how the symbol alienation of sneaker consumer goods in the consumer society plays a role in production and consumption as a means of control to consumers and sneaker fans,and how to generate the phenomenon of sneaker culture.The fourth part tries to further understand the problem of symbol alienation by analyzing the alienation of sneaker fans in the consumer society,and reveals the complexity of this problem: it is not the alienation of a single factor,but a cultural phenomenon caused by various alienation,which is also the focus of this paper.
