Based On The Application Of Modern Gothic Style In Women’s Clothing Design

With the integration of social culture in the generalenvironment,fashion style tend to be a phenomenon of diversified development.The popularity of fashion is carried out in the process of rise,development,decline,and reincarnation.The Gothic style has evolved over the centuries and now exists as a subculture,which is diversified developing in non-mainstream fashion elements.Modern Gothic style originated from goth rock in the 1970 s,is one of the important styles of promotingaesthetic reform and it belongs to the field of horrificaesthetics.With the integration of music,aesthetics and fashion,modern Gothic style has become an indispensable part of fashion trends,and it shows the attitude and way of life of the new generation.The modern Gothic style is influenced by historical factors,and its spiritual connotation has been further extended.There are also differences between the modern Gothic style and the fusion of different styles in the external shape characteristics.Retrospecting the development of the modern Gothic style in the past half century,the modern Gothic style with terror has become a classic object in the study of Gothic fashion today,from which more and more designers get inspiration.And designers also make different imaginations on the basis of mystery and darkness,thus becoming one of the important trends in the diversified development of modern women’s clothing.This paper mainly expounded the concept and development of Gothic style,sorted out the historical development of the Gothic style and learned about the connection between the development of Gothic style and modern Gothic style.This paper also analyzed and summed the characteristics of modern Gothic style.Ad based on the women’s clothing in modern Gothic style,this paper interpreted the rules of changing and inner spirit of the modern Gothic style from the spiritual level.According to the performance characteristics of modern Gothic style,domestic and foreign application cases offashion style were analyzed respectively.Finally,the paper summarized features and made design practice to explore the deeper-level design elements of women’s clothing in Gothic style as well as unique visual expression and ideas.
