As a leader in the children's durable goods industry,Company G develops several new baby stroller models every year,taking into account the current market environment and consumer needs.However,in the actual project product development process,Company G's stroller projects generally suffered from project schedule delays,frequent project changes,poor deployment of project resources and high project product costs.As a result,Company G's new stroller products were slow to market and iterate and could not ensure that the stroller products were in a favorable position to seize market opportunities and cope with market competition.This thesis takes the new G901 stroller project of Company G as the research object,and through in-depth investigation and study of the basic information of Company G's stroller project and G901 stroller project,analyzes and compares the project plan schedule with the actual schedule.The problems that existed in Company G's G901 stroller project schedule management were pointed out,which were that the project schedule could not be agreed with related parties,the project target was not reached within the specified duration,and the project deliverables were overturned in the middle of project development.By analyzing and summarizing the schedule management problems of G901 baby stroller project of Company G,this dissertation has identified several major causes of problems in the project schedule planning stage,schedule control stage and change control stage of G901 baby stroller project of Company G.Based on these reasons and combined with the basic situation of project management of Company G,this thesis proposes a solution for the schedule management of Company G G901 baby stroller project,which are to use scientific methods and tools to reformulate the project schedule,to use PDCA principle to carry out dynamic monitoring of the whole process and to establish a standardized change management workflow.Meanwhile,in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the G901 baby stroller project schedule management program of Company G,four major safeguards were developed,namely,optimizing the organizational management structure,improving communication and coordination,optimizing the assessment method and rewards mechanism,and increasing project management training.This thesis concludes that in the process of product development management,scientific and effective project management methods can effectively improve the speed and efficiency of new product research and development of enterprises,reduce costs and risks,make new products better adapt to market needs and changes,and play a strong role in helping to participate in and cope with market competition.The scientific,practical and grounded nature of the project schedule management scheme and safeguard measures in this thesis is high,which has certain reference significance for project schedule management in the same industry.
