| In the context of the revival of traditional culture,my collection was inspired from the representative Huizhou architecture and Su Zhou gardens located in the south of the Yangtze River.Therefore I study the cultural background and aesthetic value of the two and their artistic characteristics through the followings: extract the cornices,bricks and tiles,hollowed-out window flowers and other elements with Chinese architectural art characteristics,and then closely link them with clothing.I also select lines of the architecture and put them into use as well as applying knitting,pearl embroidery and new sustainable materials on them for textures.Based on all above,I want to design clothes that can reflect both the artistic sense of traditional architecture in the south of the Yangtze River and aesthetics that conforms with new Chinese style... |
