Analysing The Application Of Fabric Recycling In Garment Design

As an innovative decorative technique,fabric recycling has not only played an important part in the history of Chinese and Western garments,but has also become an important means of creative expression for designers in the modern age,where science and technology are constantly evolving.Fashion designers use fabric reconstruction techniques to enrich their designs,while constantly seeking new materials and methods to make garments more individual.The article takes fabric reconstruction as the research object,and divides the techniques of fabric reconstruction into three kinds of techniques: additive treatment,subtractive treatment and deformation treatment,supplemented by fabric sample experiments.The experimental process and design cases are combined to summarise the five application methods of fabric reconstruction in garment design,namely embellishment,contrast,local emphasis,symmetry and gradation,and analyse their characteristics,functions and performance effects,so as to provide practical significance for the innovative application of fabric reconstruction in garment design in the future.
