Since ancient times,freehand figure painting has changed constantly in its development process,inheritance and development innovation is the inevitable requirement of contemporary freehand figure painting creation.This paper focuses on the art of shaanxi paper cutting in freehand figure painting practice of reference and integration.The research methods of iconography,formal analysis,folklore and the combination of exploratory practice and documentary materials are adopted.Analyze and study the art form of the integration of figure painting and local folk art in the history of art,and explore and select artistic expression techniques suitable for creation based on the characteristics of the current era.The paper tries to organically integrate the modeling characteristics of Shaanxi paper cutting into the creation of freehand figure painting,so as to make meaningful exploration and practical theoretical research.The article is mainly carried out from two aspects of theoretical research and artistic practice.First of all,understand the aesthetic inspiration brought by Shaanxi paper-cut,explore its artistic language,analyze the artist's case,and interpret its personalized expression form.Secondly,from the analysis of shaanxi papercut space,modeling,decorative expression of three aspects,summarize the rules and explore the three aspects of reference in freehand figure painting.Then from the theoretical study to practice,stage by stage experiment.Finally,on the basis of the explanation and step by step experiment of creative expression techniques,a complete creative practice exploration in the later period was found to be insufficient to solve the problem.
