COVID-19 has brought certain changes in the way of life,traditional consumption habits and behaviors of the public.During the pandemic,with the rapid development of the "isolation economy",the dietary mode of ordering takeaway food has played an important role in people's daily lives.At the same time,the problems left over by the packaging design of takeaway food have become more prominent due to the advent of the pandemic.Therefore,takeaway food packaging needs to be changed quickly to adapt to the market environment and the new demands of consumers in the pandemic environment.Based on the above background,this thesis comprehensively uses a variety of methods such as questionnaire survey,interview survey,and platform big data analysis to conduct data research.At the same time,combined with the multi-disciplinary theories such as design aesthetics,design psychology,consumer behavior and other multidisciplinary theories as theoretical foundations to analyze the improvement of packaging design of takeout food in the post-pandemic era,and points out the importance of packaging design improvement for takeout food in the post-pandemic era.This thesis is mainly divided into six parts: a comprehensive summary of the historical development and current situation of takeaway food and packaging is made in the first and second part.At the same time,this thesis analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by the takeaway food industry in the post-pandemic era,and explores the necessity of packaging improvement in this context.The third part is the research on the market and related practitioners and consumers.It summarizes and clarifies the problems and chaos in the takeaway food industry and packaging in the post-pandemic era,and analyzes the value of packaging improvements in the post-pandemic era.The fourth part puts forward design principles for the improvement of takeaway food packaging design in the new era from five aspects: pandemic prevention and control,food safety,eco-friendliness and humanistic care.The fifth part,based on the preliminary research and analysis,the design principles are used as the basis for exploring and deriving improved strategies for the design of takeaway food packaging in the post-epidemic era.From the functional level,the visual level and the psychological level,the corresponding feasible measures are put forward.Finally,from the perspective of development,explore the normalization period and future of epidemic prevention and control,and the development and innovation trend of packaging design of takeaway food.To sum up,this thesis analyzes the influence of the traditional takeaway food packaging design from the post-pandemic era.Through market research and evidence,analyze the existing problems of takeaway food packaging,and understand consumer needs and design pain points.Meanwhile,the corresponding design principles and design strategies are put forward,which provides a certain reference for the research of takeaway food packaging design and related directions under the special background.Through the demand of different dimensions of merchants,delivery staff and consumers,it provides a new design thinking and perspective for the packaging design of takeaway food in the post-pandemic era.
