With the changes in China’s cigarette consumer market,the development of the tobacco industry relying on sales growth is unsustainable.So upgrading cigarette specifications is important.But the high-quality tobacco raw materials insufficient.The industry is mainly focusing on the exploration of the cigarette production process in improving the utilization rate of shredded tobacco,and there is a lack of research on recycled tobacco.The paper is oriented to the development of the industry and the needs of enterprises,researching the production process of recycled tobacco.Based on the technology and management of the cigarette factory H,we use Six Sigma management methods to implement improvements.First,through data analysis,we explain the loss of tobacco in the cigarette production process and the importance of implementing recycled tobacco to increase the utilization rate of shredded tobacco.Further we analyze the output requirements of the Cigarette Factory H to implement the same grade blending of recycled shredded tobacco.Then we set a target for the quality compliance rate of recycled shredded tobacco.Second,from the four aspects of data collection,total quality management,standardized management,and lean management,we analyze the prerequisites and effects of the Cigarette Factory H’s introduction of Six Sigma into the quality management of recycled tobacco.And through the guarantee of organization and implementation,we promote the implementation and promotion of Six Sigma management.Third,we use the Six Sigma DMAIC model to manage the recycled tobacco production process of Cigarette Factory H.In the definition stage,we confirmed that the tobacco impurity is a key quality characteristic that affects the rate of compliance of recycled tobacco.In the measurement phase,the Kappa test is used to verify the effectiveness of the measurement system.We find influencing factors by flowcharts,causal diagrams,causal matrices,potential failure modes and analysis.In the analysis stage,we confirm the potential key influencing factors by ANOVA,control charts.In the improvement stage,we set the opening value of the air delivery system through a single factor test.We change the color of the belt to improve the discrimination of debris.And we install soft curtains to improve the detection and rejection rate of debris.In the control phase,we verified the improvement effect and formulated control measures.Finally,We evaluated the economic benefits of the project implementation to the factory.At the same time,it also provides a reference for other cigarette factories in the implementation of shredded tobacco reuse.
