A Study Of The Art Of Traditional Sunite Wall Decoration Felt And Embroidery

Traditional Sunite wall felt is a fiber art that is practical and decorative and a concentrated reflection of folk beliefs and spiritual culture.It unites the ideals and beliefs of the Sunite people and conveys the people's desire and aspiration for a better life.Currently,the art of felt embroidery is being given renewed importance as the country attaches importance to traditional handicrafts,and Mongolian embroidery was selected for the second batch of China's National Intangible Cultural Heritage List,and the art of felt embroidery was given renewed importance.The author,therefore,takes the art of traditional Sunite wall decorations and felt embroidery in Xilingol League as the object of study and explores the innovative development of Sunite traditional wall decorations and felt embroidery in modern society from the perspective of the innovative development of traditional handicrafts,combining excellent traditional culture with the art of wall painting.The article investigates four areas in particular.The article begins with an analysis of the Sunite people's production,geography,and religious beliefs.It provides an overview of their cultural connotations and the techniques and applications of felt embroidery.Secondly,the author traveled to Xilingol League Sunite Left Banner and Sunite Right Banner to examine the art of wall decoration felt embroidery,comparing it with other felts after fieldwork,analyzing the use of patterns and colors in traditional Sunite wall decoration felt embroidery,and analyzing its aesthetic value.The author also explores the current state of traditional felt wall embroidery in the Sunite region and summarises the heritage status through interviews with Sunite felt wall embroiderers and visits to museums and cultural centers.Finally,the author analyses Sunite felt wall embroidery from the perspective of frescoes and reflects on the innovation and development of traditional felt wall embroidery.The author proposes a 'redesign' of traditional Sunite felt wall embroidery in modern frescoes,considering the above research and analysis.
