Design And Application Of Yao Embroidery Elements In Modern Jewelry

As an inseparable and indispensable part of Chinese traditional culture,ethnic culture reflects distinct regional color and different aesthetic taste.Yao,with a long history,has also formed a unique form of national culture in the long process of development and change.Although Yao people have no characters,their costumes and embroidery patterns carry and transmit their own culture to a certain extent.Drawing inspiration from Yao embroidery elements and linking national culture with modern design can not only gain considerable economic and social benefits,but also nurture the inheritance and development of culture,and then build a virtuous circle system.This paper mainly studies the application of Yao embroidery elements in modern jewelry design,which is divided into three parts.The first chapter focuses on the market research of Yao embroidery elements jewelry products,with the research background,research purposes,research methods and research status of a comprehensive overview;from the embroidery elements jewelry market status,embroidery elements applied in modern jewelry classification and embroidery elements applied to modern jewelry problems analysis and research.The second chapter discusses the design application strategy of Yao embroidery elements in modern jewelry from three dimensions:the characteristic analysis of Yao embroidery elements,the decorative language analysis of Yao embroidery elements,and the extraction and "redesign" of Yao embroidery elements.In the third chapter,inspired by the color of Yao headdress and the classic patterns of Yao embroidery,two series of jewelry,namely "Yao Zhi Ying" and "Yao Zhi Yang",are designed.The design points of color matching,modeling integration and jewelry technology are described in detail.This chapter is not only the subjective explanation and elaboration of the two series of jewelry works,but also the theoretical research of the first two chapters,supplemented by practical test;therefore,it explores the application,innovative thinking,ways and methods of Yao embroidery elements in modern jewelry design.
