Waterborne epoxy asphalt has excellent anti-rutting performance when used in road paving at room temperature,but the compatibility of epoxy resin and asphalt is poor and no chemical reaction occurs,which makes the low temperature toughness of waterborne epoxy asphalt insufficient,and the water resistance stability of the paved road remains to be improve.This topic is based on the Diles-Alder reaction,using the principle of reversible charge transfer between asphalt and maleic anhydride.The curing reaction between epoxy resin and asphalt is realized through maleic anhydride,which improves the bond between epoxy resin and asphalt.Compatibility,the prepared waterborne epoxy asphalt has excellent performance,uniform microscopic internal structure dispersion and stable phase dispersion.With this as a guide,this article proposes the preparation method and modification process of non-ionic waterborne epoxy asphalt.Through mechanical properties,Fourier infrared test,adhesion test and other means,it is explored that when the best blending ratio of epoxy resin is 10 phr,the overall performance is the best.In the preparation process of the waterborne epoxy asphalt mixture,according to the workability and fluidity of mixing,it was found that the amount of mineral powder and the amount of externally mixed water were 2% and 1.5% respectively.Using the modified Marshall test,through the stability,flow value,porosity and relative bulk density of the test,to explore the addition of water-based epoxy asphalt,it is found that the best water-based epoxy asphalt is 9.5%.Through the test of porosity,water loss rate and stability strength,the compaction method and curing conditions of waterborne epoxy asphalt mixture are studied.The results show that the compaction method and curing conditions are: first positive pressure and back pressure 50 Secondly,bake in an oven at 60°C for 6 days.After heating to 80°C,continue to stand for 24 hours,and then press positive and negative pressure25 times.The moisture of the mixture is basically completely volatilized and the stability of the mixture is the highest.The road performance of the waterborne epoxy asphalt mixture was studied,and it was found that the high temperature performance of the mixture was remarkable,and other properties also met the regulatory requirements.The replacement of mineral powder with calcium oxide can significantly improve the water stability of the mixture,and then promote it Into practical applications.The test section was successfully paved on the roads in the Shanghai Chongming Flower Expo area by using concrete mixing plant room temperature mixing and concrete mixer trucks for long-distance transportation(about 200 kilometers,driving about 3hours),which greatly reduced the production cost and transportation cost of the mixture.
