| Automation and artificial intelligence have gradually been penetrated into various fields, and the oil industry’s well control direction and automatic well killing technology have been gradually updated and developed. After the well kick is found, the automatic well killing system can send out the alarm signals in time and shut in the well to generate the kill construction order, and then kill the well automatly. In the killing process, the killing parameters can be accurately collected. The automatic killing system can control the throttle valve to open or close, and the killing success rate can be greatly improved. However, before the automatic well killing system is put into field use,it must be tested in all aspects to ensure the accuracy and stability of the automatic control. This paper studies the numerical simulation of reverse circulation killing methods and automatic killing system. The change of casing pressure and drillpipe pressure with the number of pump strokes in the process of reverse circulation well killing is calculated according to the numerical model. In addition, the field test of reverse circulation automatic well killing was carried out in the field.By selecting the test well site and reforming some equipments in the test well site, the standard of automatic well killing was achieved. The field test of automatic well killing was carried out,and three groups of tests were carried out.The results of the tests with the same gas kick and different pump displacements were compared. With the same killing rate, the test results of different gas kick are produced.According to the results of the reverse cycle automatic killing test, the automatic killing system can kill the well timely and accurately,It can circulate the gas kick out of the well and greatly reduce the killing workload and the errors in the killing process.Aautomatic killing is the trend of the killing methods in the future.Through the comparison and analysis with the numerical simulation results,it can be seen that the gas in the wellbore is mainly distributed by more short gas column and dispersion type, rather than continuous gas column. |
