Research On The Diversified Function Innovation Design Of Contemporary Jewelry

In the traditional concept and in the minds of ordinary people,jewelry may only be used as a decorative tool for collocation and ornament.Such products tend to pay more attention to the exquisite and unique modeling,the expensive material selection and the lean production technology.However,the design and production of contemporary jewelry is influenced by social culture and aesthetic trend of thought,which breaks the inherent design thinking mode of traditional jewelry,and the artistic form and functional expression of jewelry design has been expanded across the field,highlighting the characteristics of individuality,human culture and diversification.Looking back at the development process of jewelry,it is not difficult to see that since the appearance of jewelry,its design purpose and function are not only limited to the wearing and decoration level,but involve a variety of functions.This feature has been paid attention to and is often presented in contemporary jewelry design.This paper takes the history of jewelry development at home and abroad as the research source and jewelry design under the motivation of diversified functions as the research focus.By means of literature research,brand analysis,questionnaire survey and other methods,this paper conducts a deep and multi-dimensional research on the innovative design of contemporary jewelry based on diversified functions.First of all,the research objects were defined to explore the derivative functions of jewelry in addition to the inherent and basic wearing and decorative functions,and to summarize the different roles of jewelry in different periods and under different environments.Secondly,to understand and master the design concepts and methods of different jewelry functions,conduct a comprehensive analysis of their design concepts,and explore the expressionism of jewelry design and the expansion of new art forms under the new design trend of thought;Finally,to highlight the diversified functions of jewelry as the starting point,to show the specific cultural functions of jewelry as the foothold,combined with contemporary design concepts and social trends of thought,to carry out the original series of jewelry design with practical significance and functional breakthrough.
