With the continuous deepening of China’s reform and opening up,as the main body of the socialist market economy,state-owned enterprises must integrate into the market and survive and develop in the competition.Corporate culture can guide employees to integrate their thoughts and actions into the realization of enterprise development goals.It plays an important role in improving employees’ work enthusiasm,enhancing employees’ sense of belonging and happiness.It is an important embodiment of enterprises’ soft power in market competition,and is related to the success or failure of enterprises as market subjects in market competition.Therefore,a set of corporate culture adapted to the development strategy of state-owned enterprises is of great significance for the state-owned enterprises to occupy a favorable position in the market competition and achieve long-term development.This thesis takes the state-owned enterprise,J company as the main research object,adopts the method of qualitative and quantitative research,analyzes the progress and achievements of the company in the construction of corporate culture,the internal and external environment and strategic planning of the company,and through the intuitive,reliable and effective organizational culture evaluation scale OCAI,the corporate culture of the company is evaluated Based on the enterprise culture competitive value model,the thesis analyzes the overall culture type,corporate culture elements and sample characteristics,and diagnoses the problems existing in the company’s existing corporate culture system.The research shows that under the background of China’s focus on protecting national energy security and accelerating the process of unconventional oil and gas development,the company relies on remarkable technology and equipment.The J company is facing three challenges from market,safety and cost.Strengthening market development and technological innovation,vigorously improving the quality of the staff,and establishing a high-quality reputation for safety well control and environmental protection management are the inevitable choice for the company to survive and develop in the fierce market competition.The existing culture types of the company are team oriented,hierarchical oriented,market-oriented and finally innovative.From the perspective of employees’ expectations,employees hope to strengthen the construction of team and innovative corporate culture,and reduce the hierarchical and market-oriented corporate culture.Based on the company’s strategic planning and evaluation results,it is diagnosed that there is insufficient concern for the development of young employees in the company’s corporate culture construction,the training mechanism of highly educated scientific research talents is not perfect,the staff’s understanding of the market situation and development strategy faced by the company is not in place,the mechanism for employees to participate in enterprise management and cultural construction is not smooth enough,and some of the company’s management systems and processes are handled too complicated and so on.In view of the above problems existing in the construction of corporate culture,this thesis puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the optimization of corporate culture construction.Firstly,we consider that it is necessary to strengthen the team culture.With the team building and family culture construction,the culture can be achieved by implementing diversified training,enhancing employees’ sense of belonging and promoting employees’ development.Secondly,enhancing innovative culture in the company is also needed.As to this aspect,establishments and improvements of innovation incentive mechanism,promotion mechanism of innovative talents,mentors and apprentices,training for young scientists and technicians will stimulate innovation vitality and solve practical problems at lower level of the company.Thirdly,appropriately maintaining the hierarchical culture.The purpose should be realized by the strengthen of corporate culture publicity,establishment of organizational concept,improvements of talent management mode,enhance of the sense of ownership of employees,simplification work process,and improvement office efficiency.At last,we also find that the the company should enhance market-oriented culture,and strengthen the propaganda of situation and task,enhance the staff’s sense of identity,strengthen the staff’s professional quality training,improve the soft power of corporate competition,link wages with profits,and mobilize the staff’s enthusiasm.
