With the younger generation occupying a larger consumer market,catering to the preferences of young consumers has become the top priority of commercial brands.The unconventional and rebellious spirit of youth subculture fashion coincides with the fashion attitude of contemporary youth in pursuit of novelty,which makes youth subculture fashion contain huge business opportunities.The capital penetration of the Internet,the vigorous development of social media and the strengthening of youth fashion discourse have caused contemporary youth sub-cultural fashion to continue to break and be consumed,and various youth sub-cultural fashion communities emerged at the historic moment.Community refers to a group with consistent behavioral characteristics and ideology based on the same needs and hobbies.Due to the humanity,freshness and reality of the community,the subject needs triggered by its behavioral characteristics will inevitably have an important back-feeding effect on the representative culture.The youth subculture fashion community shares the same aesthetic tastes and fashion viewpoints,and their fashion needs greatly influence the fashion design based on the youth subculture fashion.This article mainly investigates and analyzes the "Y2K" youth subcultural fashion community,so as to study how the community's fashion needs affect clothing design,and aims to summarize the clothing design methods based on the needs of "Y2K" community.First,this article analyzes the formation of the "Y2K" community from three levels: fashion-driven,cultural-driven,and consumption-driven.Fashion-driven is that the four major aesthetic characteristics of "Y2K" provide an aesthetic foundation for the construction of the community and the internal community;Cultural drive means that under the guidance of breaking circles,"Y2K" enters the mainstream vision through multiple channels and media,providing a wide range of cultural tentacles for the construction of the "Y2K" community;Consumption-driven means that "Y2K" is used in clothing products by various fashion brands under the guidance of consumption,and the identity and value recognition of the "Y2K" community are strengthened through clothing consumption.Furthermore,through online fieldwork,this article conducts an in-depth investigation and analysis of the "Y2K" community,and analyzes the phenomenon of the "Y2K" community from the aspects of personality characteristics,lifestyle,life attitude and fashion attitude,and grasps the social psychology of the crowd.Then,the community is divided into: sci-fi future type,sexy hot girl type and cool and sweet type,and research and summarize the fashion behavior characteristics of the three types of communities,and finally clarify the fashion needs of the three types of "Y2K" communities.Finally,this article analyzes design methods of three types of clothing based on the needs of the "Y2K" community through specific cases,and then makes design practices.
