This paper examines the effects of different SSBR structures,different butadiene rubber(BR)structures,and silica coupling agent content on the overall performance of low-rolling resistance tread rubber,and sidewalls with low heat generation and low rolling resistance.Tread rubber was prepared by compounding SSBR and BR chemically modified with chain end monofunctional and multifunctional groups.It was found that multifunctional chemically modified SSBR had better filler dispersibility than chain end monofunctional SSBR,and the Mooney scorch lasted longer.,the maximum torque,hardness and rubber tensile strength are small,the tearing strength is high,the Payne effect is weakened,the rolling resistance is reduced,and the ice skid resistance is good,but the rubber has poor wet skid resistance and rubber dry grip performance.The effects of butadiene rubber with different structures on the various properties of silica-filled SSBR/BR composite compounds were studied.It is found that Nd BR vulcanized rubber has high Mooney viscosity,short Mooney scorch time,high maximum torque,long normal vulcanization time,high rubber hardness and rubber tensile strength,and reduced rubber rolling resistance.The ice-slip resistance becomes better,but at the same time the wet-slip and abrasion resistance become worse.This paper also found that the addition of Si69 to the compound rubber is beneficial to improve the wet skid resistance,ice skid resistance and abrasion resistance of the tread rubber,and has little effect on the resistance of the rubber when rolling.When the Si69 content is 8% and 10%,the hardness and comprehensive mechanical properties of the compound are the best.In the sidewall rubber formula,compared with Ni BR,the maximum torque of Nd BR,the higher the Mooney viscosity,and the shorter the duration of the scorching process;the overall hardness,tensile strength and resilience of the sidewall rubber have been significantly improved,The resistance of the sidewall rubber when rolling is reduced.The more silica in the rubber compound,the greater the Mooney viscosity of the sidewall rubber,the shorter the scorching time,the higher the elongation at break,the greater the tear strength and resilience,and the sidewall rubber is rolling.When the resistance is smaller.
