Abstract/Summary:
As the vehicle is running, the tyres are undergoing a periodical load, and the temperature of the tire will rise because of the lagging loss of the rubber composite material and the friction between the road and tire surface. The unsteady state temperature field of the tire base on the two heat source. The heat build-up is measured by NETZSCH DMA242 and friction coefficient is measured high speed friction experiment machine. The tyre property in high temperature is lower than low temperature. Especially in critical temperature , The tyre property reduced rapidly and the tyre can burst sometimes .The need of low heat build-up material is required to be made. With reading a mass of the documents about the rolling resistance and wet anti-grapping, there are 11 types semisteel belt tyres formularies designed in this paper by changing carbon black and SBR1502/SBR1712/BR9000 blending ratio, which answer for the actual demands of the tyre industry and have a certain extent engineering practicability. The DMA curves of 11 types tread rubber materials used in tires with the changes of temperature have been obtained by using Dynamic Mechanics Analysis technique (DMA) on NETZSCH DMA242 instrument. The storage modulus-temperature( E' —7) plots and dissipation factor-temperature ( tanδ —T) plots of the different sires of tread rubbers were analyzed and compared in different groupings. Then the tread rubber formulary possessing low rolling resistance was obtained by the 11 types tread rubbers' tan 5 in case of-10℃ ~ 10 ℃ and 50℃~80℃ compared compositively referring to NO. 1 rubber. The heat build-up curves of the 11 type tread rubbers were compared in...
