| Tread is the key component of the tire directly contacting the ground, and its property directly affected the rolling resistance and grip of the tire.10% to 30% of the energy loss in the driving process of the truck comes from the rolling resistance of the tire.Reducing the rolling resistance can save fuel consumption.Tire tread rubber and ground should have good grasping performance, especially the wet skid resistance is an important index to measure tire safety performance when driving at high speed and there is water on the road. This thesis mainly studies the effect of Dual-Phase Carbon Black(CSDP)and NR/BR/SSBR filling system on tire rolling resistance and wet grip performance. In the study, the effects of different types and amounts of fillers on the properties of NR vulcanizes were discussed, and the unique advantages of CSDP were confirmed. The properties of different CSDP filled vulcanizes with variety NR/BR and NR/SSBR ratio were discussed,as well as the properties of CSDP filled vulcanizes of different NR/BR/SSBR ratio. Finally, the optimal NR/BR/SSBR ratio was obtained, based on which the performance of the improved production formula and tire product were compared by experiments. The results show that compared with the tread compound filled Carbon Black(CB)or CB/White Carbon Black(WCB),the tread filled with CSDP got lowest 60℃ tanδ without reducing 0℃ tanδ obviously. With plenty of experiments the optimized compound including CSDP with NR/BR/SSBR(Blending 50 phr CSDP with NR/SSBR/BR=30/60/10)was obtained which got the best combination of tensile strength,0℃ tanδ and 60℃ tanδ.0℃ tanδ and 60℃ tanδ of the optimized compound were improved 106.67% and 24.98% respectively than the production formulation(Blending with 50 phr CB and 100 phr NR).The performance of the tire named Double Coin 295/75R22.5 FT105 with the optimized tread compound instead of the normal commercial compound, both rolling resistance and grip performance were significantly improved 7.33% and 15.65%.Finally the new formula test tire reached the request of EU Labeling act level A for class C3 type tires. |
