Study On The Design Of Jian Drum In Han Dynasty

Jian Drum in Han Dynasty is an important part of the folk music emerged in Han Dynasty stone portraits,but few archaeological and cultural cases have been found.Beautifully decorated and special modeling Jian Drums are rare today,but left a lot of academic debates.Through the collection,classification,sorting and discussion of the construction materials of the Jian Drums in Han Dynasty,this thesis studied their modeling characteristics,explored the possibility of its structure,and attempted to examine and concretize plane images from a comprehensive perspective.The research was mainly divided into four parts.The first part systematically collected,categorized and sorted the scattered construction drum information;used the most adequately documented Han Dynasty stone portraits as the source,and according to the classification standards of archaeological typology,classified the classes,types and styles of Jian Drums in the portraits,so that every drum images in Han Dynasty stone portraits can be found the corresponding type standard.The second part of the research was based on the physical evidence and historical records of unearthed cultural relics and documents,discussed and explored the possible sizes,structures and materials of Jan Drums;combined with the social background and technical background of Han Dynasty,contrasted the characteristics of the drum construction between the pre-Qin and post-Han periods.The purpose of it is to provide a scientific and reasonable way to pave the way for the restoration of the shape design.The last part was the design restoration of Jian Drums.According to the first part,the styles,shapes and systems of Jian Drum in different regions were summarized.Combined with the second part,the comprehensive appearance of Jian Drums is restored reasonably,so as to make up for the lack of complete physical unearthed objects in Han Dynasty.The main task is to organize the information of ancient Chinese Jian Drums lost in history into unified and detailed information to provide indexing function for future research.On this basis,this thesis tried to break the limitations of Jian Drums as a 2D image research,explored and put forward my opinion and the modeling design plan.It can not only provide a realistic basis for the production of props for modern stage performances,ancient costume films and television dramas,but also provide design solutions for studies of ancient Chinese ritual culture,witch culture,sacrificial culture,ancient music and dance culture,which is convenient for future researchers restore the scene of the research object intuitively and provide basic supports for the research of traditional Chinese culture.
