Research On The Application Of Fruit Elements In Lacquer Jewelry Design

With the continuous improvement of users’ aesthetic level and the endless variety of jewelry products,jewelry design has attracted more and more attention.The process of jewelry product design not only includes the designer’s aesthetic consciousness,but also advocates the combination of design and nature to achieve the artistic conception of returning to innocence.As a common plant fruit,fruit elements are widely used in their own product designs by many researchers and designers.This thesis combines fruit culture + twenty-four solar terms + homophonic meaning + lacquer culture to study the design and production of fruit element lacquer jewelry,which makes jewelry have profound connotation beauty and colorful artistic charm.This thesis follows the principle from theory to practice in the research.The first chapter investigates references that combine keywords such as lacquer art,fruit elements,jewelry,culture,etc.,to explain the current research status of the thesis.Facts have proved that it is feasible to apply fruit elements to jewelry design,and it can also meet the current market demand for ancient and ethnic styles.The second chapter discusses the artistic characteristics of fruit elements.First,it analyzes the traditional culture contained in the fruit elements,and explores the beauty of the artistic conception in the fruit elements from the perspective of its homophonic meaning.Then use examples to illustrate the morphological performance of fruit elements in jewelry products,which can give jewelry products a dynamic beauty of life.Finally,it analyzes the color expression in the fruit element,and combines the color of the fruit to illustrate the effect of color on the user’s psychological activities,and increases the emotional connotation of jewelry,which arouses the user’s resonance.The third chapter studies the fusion of fruit elements in the design of lacquer jewelry.First,it explains the principles of selection of fruit elements in lacquer jewelry from the perspective of the twenty-four solar terms and the concept of fruit culture.Then use specific cases to introduce how fruit elements are expressed in feature simplification and geometric abstraction in the design of lacquer jewelry.Secondly,it explains the application forms of fruit elements in lacquer jewelry design,including splitting,reorganization,fusion,meaning,form,color,etc.,and analyzes how fruit elements give lacquer jewelry exquisite shape and cultural connotation from the perspective of concrete and intention.When the fruit elements and the lacquer jewelry are merged,the form mainly includes the shape and the concept.The combination of the two can give the jewelry vitality and cultural heritage.The fourth chapter is the specific practice of applying fruit elements to the design of lacquer jewelry.Following the design principles and methods introduced earlier,a series of fruit element lacquer jewelry products are designed and displayed.The fifth chapter summarizes the research results of the thesis and the directions for further research in the future.In the development trend of globalization,Chinese traditional culture is the outstanding advantage of the Chinese nation.Therefore,exploring the traditional culture contained in fruit elements and combining the lacquer craftsmanship of intangible cultural heritage to design lacquered jewelry with modern aesthetic attributes is not only the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture,but also conforms to the development needs of the times and has a good development prospect.
