Tibetan Buddhism was the important tool of the ruling class to maintain rule, it isthe fountain of promoting the suffering world with great concentration practice, thus itcould put an end to bad ideas and eventually reach nirvana. Tibetan Buddhism isdeeply rooted in people’s minds and has played a significant impact on people’s dailylife. Tibetan Buddhism has spread in Mongolian region and inevitably affects thedevelopment of the culture of Mongolian and the Mongolian jewelry. It also affectsthe Mongolian jewelry of contents and forms of expression.Mongolian jewelry comes from the vast Mongolian grasslands, naturally hasstraightforward and uninhibited characteristics. In Mongolia, jewelry is not only asimple decoration, but also contains profound Buddhist thoughts. And it becomes anindispensable part of the Mongolian people’s life.In this paper, based on a lot of research and a wide range of data analysis, itanalyzes the relationship between cultural elements with the jewelry design style,particularly in the influence on Tibetan Buddhism to Mongolian jewelry art. Thearticle mainly divides into five parts: first, carries on the back of the Mongolian andthe production and living culture. Mongolian is a nomadic people with long-termconflicts. After unify, it still kept the characteristics of nomad. The culture productionand living culture of Mongolian mainly reflects on the horse culture, the diet cultureand clothing aesthetic culture, etc. Second, it analyzes the characteristics of TibetanBuddhism and the Mongolian culture. Tibetan Buddhism statue arts mainly reflectedin the exquisite statues and sculpture art, paintings and mysterious thangka,charmaine dance costume masks, etc. The Mongolian traditional folk pattern is theperfect combination of material civilization and spiritual culture. It not only presentsdifferences of human geography, but also highlights the regional characteristics. TheMongolian worship totem symbols. Its pattern design has many colorful culturalstyles, and has been widely used in our daily life. Third, it is the influence of TibetanBuddhism to the Mongolian art. First it analyzes the relationship between Tibetanculture and Mongolian culture. Then it discusses the relationship between Tibetan Buddhism and the Mongolian culture. Fourth, Tibetan Buddhism factors greatlypromote the development of the Mongolian jewelry. Mongolian jewelry mostly basedon Buddhist thoughts. Fifth, it studies the inheritance and development of Mongolianjewelry. Mongolian jewelry has passed and developed in the new times. Modern andtraditional Buddhist culture unifies together which could highlight the long history ofMongolian jewelry and unique jewelry culture. Finally, It designs works depicting thehorse through adopting the Mongolian traditional auspicious decorative elements.This represents the cultural essence of long standing and well established, whichindicates the inheritance and development of Mongolian culture.
