Fancy yarn is a hot spot in the market at present.Because of its special structure and colorful appearance,its product style is unique,which meets the needs of consumers in pursuit of individuality.With the development of new ring spinning technologies,such as compact spinning and siro spinning,the production of high-quality fancy yarns based on the new ring spinning technology has adapted to the needs of most textile enterprises in my country,and has the advantages of low cost and rapid change.On the spinning machine,the transformation of special textile equipment to produce fancy yarns is low cost and easy to operate.However,few people have explored the transformation of drafting rubber-covered roll to produce fancy yarns.Therefore,in order to enrich the types of fancy yarns,the drafting rubber-covered roll on the spinning frame were grooved,the yarn forming principle and yarn quality were studied,and the color changes and fabric styles were analyzed.Firstly,analyze the parameter design of the groove.The design of the margin and width of the groove is determined by roving weight and the contact surface between the roving and the back rubber-covered roll.The shape,depth,angle of the grooves,the number and relative position of the grooves on the rubber-covered roll can be used to spin new Siro fancy yarns with different appearances.The parameters of the groove can be changed to spin a thick section with a color change,or two colors sections with an alternating change,and the appearance of the yarn has a variety of color changes.The different parameters of the grooved rubber-covered roll have corresponding effects on the drafting mechanism,yarn density and blending ratio,twisting triangle area,etc.,resulting in changes in the appearance and quality of the yarn.Secondly,based on the new technology of compact Siro ring spinning,a 90° groove for embedding the roving is engraved on the surface of the rubber-covered roll on the back roller.In the spinning process,roving A(white)and roving B(red)are fed parallel to the back roller by the double bell mouth.During the rotation of the back roller,when the groove on the surface of the rubber-covered roll turns to the bottom to contact the back nip,the roving A falls into the groove and is not held by the back roller;when the groove on the surface of the rubber-covered roll leaves the bottom,the roving A resumes normal gripping.Roving B is always held normally,keeping parallel with roving A,passing through the front drafting zone into the gathering zone and then converging and twisting into yarn.By the action of the grooved rubber-covered roll,the appearance of the yarn has a gradual effect of color.In order to study the draft change in the back zone,the grooved rubber-covered roll and the normal rubber-covered roll were used to spin yarns,and the strips output from the middle roller after one rotation of the back-up rubbercovered roll were obtained.The cut-off weighing method and the drafting multiple formula are used to obtain the draft distribution curve of the back zone.When the groove gradually turns to the bottom and away from the bottom,the draft change gradually decreases from normal to 1and then gradually increases from 1 to normal;when the back draft ratio is larger,the range of increase or decrease of the draft of the groove to the whisker will increase.Then,the normal rubber-covered roll and the grooved rubber-covered roll were used to spin 30 tex Siro yarns and new fancy yarns with different draft ratios in the back zone.Compare the changes in properties such as strength,and hairiness index of new fancy yarns.It is found that the elongation and strength change are small,and the strength variation coefficient is larger than that of the ordinary Siro yarn.The yarn hairiness index did not change significantly due to the effect of grooves.A segmented analysis of the yarn density was carried out using the cuttingweighing method,and it can be concluded that as the back draft ratio increases,the yarn thick section becomes thicker and thicker.When the draft ratio of the back zone is large,the yarns will have a finer change.Finally,the color change of yarn and fabric style are analyzed.The new 30 tex fancy yarns with different back drafting multiples are wound around the blackboard,and the area of a single color on the surface of the yarn is calculated by Image J image processing software,so as to obtain the distribution of the color change on the surface of the yarn.Due to the effect of the grooved rubber-covered roll,the white color area in the finished yarn has increased or decreased,and the red area has also changed to varying degrees due to the increase in the back draft ratio.Different patterns of yarns have formed new fancy yarns of different styles.The fabric appearance style of the spun knitting sample shows different changes: when the back draft ratio is small,the fabric has a grainy feel,and the drawdown is less,showing the style of Yuhua Stone;when the draft back ratio is large,the fabric has strong horizontal.Strong,clear lines,strong three-dimensional effect,showing filament rain effect.
