| Clothing and art are the products of human spiritual civilization.They provide continuous material and spiritual supplies for human beings in the long history of development.However,with the continuous development of social economy,the importance of spiritual pursuit gradually appears,almost covering up the light of material demand,which is mainly reflected in the transformation of contemporary art and clothing design from entertainment and practicality to concept.At its source,contemporary art is based on conceptual expression,while conceptual clothing has the same feature with it.From Dadaism and surrealism,to pop art and behavior art,which deeply expose and satirize the society and the dark side of human nature,all have something to do with the conceptual analysis on the basis of social civilization.Decades later,the conceptual clothing design is also based on this,enriching the inner world of human beings.Therefore,a deep understanding of contemporary art and its conceptual expression born in different social backgrounds plays an important role in mastering the essence of conceptual fashion design.Looking at history,there are numerous cases involving the blurred boundary between art and clothing,the artist Yoko Ono chooses to expose the essence of human nature and society in the form of destroying clothing,while brands such as Gucci and Maison Margiela choose to show their ideas with clothing or old clothing that they refuse to sell.Conceptuality has become a bridge between contemporary art and fashion design,and the analysis and arrangement of its cases has become a major basis for this study.To sum up,this paper aims to analyze and sort out the relevant works of art and conceptual clothing design cases in history from the conceptual basis of contemporary art,and summarize the main composition clues and expressions of conceptual clothing with critical thinking,so as to provide strong support for the development of society and the diversification of clothing design. |
