Research On The Design Of Furniture Suitable For The Elderly Based On Behavior Guidance Model

With the deepening of China's aging,the society is facing the challenge of aging.The development of China's aging industry has just started.At present,the society does not pay enough attention to the elderly.As a carrier closely related to people,furniture for the elderly is still small in scale in China,which can not meet the needs of the elderly.This paper aims to give the elderly a convenient life,promote people's attention to the "silver hair industry" and make more people pay attention to the lack of care for the elderly,improve the environment for the elderly,promote the development of furniture in the direction of the elderly,and really give the elderly a peaceful old age.Based on the investigation of the current living conditions of the elderly,starting from the daily behavior of the elderly,taking into account the psychological and physiological changes of the elderly,combined with the investigation data,this paper finds out the inconvenience caused by the decline of physical function of the elderly,and finds that the arthritis and other problems of the elderly in China are the most serious.After careful understanding,the number of elderly people with leg problems in life is the largest,It is the so-called "old people,old legs first".It is observed that the elderly are very hard to get up and sit down,which has a great impact on the healthy life of the elderly.In view of this problem,combined with the current theoretical research,this paper focuses on how to complete the simple movements of getting up and sitting down when the elderly are inconvenient due to aging knee joints and degenerating leg muscles,How to solve this problem is the focus of this paper.Combined with physiological and psychological characteristics,using universal design principles,when designing behavior assisted furniture,try to "de age" as much as possible to avoid labeling the elderly and affecting their emotions.Although aging is an irresistible process,furniture design can improve the self-care ability of the elderly,make the elderly live with more dignity and make their life more convenient.With the growing maturity of China's pension industry,the concept of "suitable for the elderly" furniture will become a new direction of industry development.Suitable for aging furniture will be integrated into the suitable for aging environment,and the suitable for aging elements will be transformed from "explicit suitable for the elderly" to "invisible suitable for the elderly",Gradually improve their own research system for the aged furniture.
