Gan Opera has a profound and long historical background and has distinct regional characteristics among Chinese traditional operas.On the stage of Gan Opera,costume of opera is the direct carrier that actors can best embody the role image.Therefore,costume of traditional repertoire of Gan Opera also embodies the remarkable artistic and cultural characteristics of costume of ancient Chinese drama.At present,although there have been analysis on the artistic characteristics of Ganju costume,the research on the artistic characteristics of Ganju costume of traditional repertoire is not clear and clear.Therefore,this paper takes the traditional repertoire of Gan Opera "The Return of the Peony Pavilion" as an example to discuss the artistic characteristics of the costumes of the traditional repertoire of Gan Opera,and analyzes the expression forms of the costumes of the traditional repertoire of Gan Opera through case scenarios,so as to inherit and develop the artistic characteristics in combination with the background of the new era.The specific research process is as follows:This paper is composed of introduction,text,conclusion and prospect,references and appendix.The introduction part is composed of research background and current situation,research purpose and significance,and research methods.This paper first elaborates the current situation of research on the costumes of traditional Gan Opera.Secondly,this paper sorts out the historical origin and development of Ganju Opera and its costumes,focuses on analyzing the evolution of Ganju traditional repertoire costumes in the process of historical development,sorts out the historical background of Ganju traditional repertoire costumes,and summarizes the rules in the evolution process,which lays the necessary theoretical groundwork for the research in the following paper.Thirdly,taking the Gan opera The Return of the Peony Pavilion as an example,this paper focuses on the analysis of the artistic characteristics of the costumes in Gan opera,such as the procedural,symbolic,decorative and dancable,and discusses the specific role of costumes in the performance of Gan opera.Then,under the background of the new era,the inheritance and development of the artistic characteristics of the costumes of traditional Gan Opera repertores are expounded,and analyzed and discussed from the perspectives of procedural nature,regional nature and decorative nature,and verified by design examples.This is also the novel part of this paper compared with previous studies.Finally,this paper mainly expounds the research value of this paper,through the analysis of the artistic characteristics of Ganju traditional repertoire costumes,the characteristics of Ganju costumes are more intuitively discussed with examples,so that the new generation of young people can better understand the artistic characteristics of traditional culture.From the five aspects of procedural,symbolic,dancable,decorative and regional analysis,this paper summarizes the specific expression forms of the costume of Gan Opera's traditional repertoire in the drama.Based on the historical background,this paper discusses the inheritance and development of costume of Gan Opera traditional repertoire,so that more people can have a more specific knowledge and understanding of costume of Gan Opera traditional repertoire,and Jiangxi people can have a stronger sense of nationality,history,region and responsibility for local traditional culture.And through the research on the combination of Ganju traditional repertoire costumes and local traditional culture,it will help to enrich the content of Ganju research,expand the scope of Jiangxi local culture and Ganju costume culture research,and further promote the development of Ganju art.
