Delay in project delivery, high budget overruns and low project quality have characterized project management processes in organizations.Managers are, therefore, compelled to explore and exploit strategies to ensure quality project delivery.Two-way communication has been identified as a strategic pillar for delivering quality projects, timely and economically.Despite various communication strategies and channels,a large number of projects fail to achieve their quality objectives due to a lack of effective communication between project implementers and end-users.This problem is evident in project abandonment, delays, low quality and standards, and high cost of projects especially in public sector organizations such as Ghana National Petroleum Corporation(GNPC).To address this problem, this study investigated the effectiveness of communication at GNPC and the influence of the communication on quality project delivery at the Corporation.Four administrative and three non-administrative staff were purposively sampled and interviewed on the three main objectives of the study.A case strategy was employed and a thematic analytical approach was used to analyse the responses.First, the study showed that print, social media, electronic and face-toface/oral channels are the common communications channels at GNPC.Second, print and social media are the most effective channels of communication at GNPC because they provide fast, easy, convenient, reliable and evidence-based communication.Third, the study found that effective communication reduces errors in project delivery, avoid delays, ensure projects delivery meets standardize and expectation. This study has established that two communication is relevant in delivery project quality.Management of GNPC must employ a two-way communication approach between project implementers and end-user especially using print and social media.GNPC must improve their digital infrastructure, improve digital knowledge of staff to be able to use digital tools in daily activities.
