The Furniture Design Based On Chinese Characters

Since the reform and opening up,with the development of China's economy,the furniture industry has shown a thriving scene.China has become a major furniture export country,but unfortunately China has not yet become a powerful country in furniture design.With the continuous development of information technology,the phenomenon of nonstandard use of Chinese characters in daily life and Internet is becoming more and more serious.Chinese culture is experiencing severe challenges.Therefore,this paper takes Chinese character elements and modern Chinese furniture as the research object,starting with Chinese character culture and taking modern Chinese furniture as the carrier,analyzes the influence of Chinese character art on furniture,as well as their cultural similarities,and discusses the design elements of Chinese character elements applied in furniture design.Then through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of the modern furniture market and the needs of the target user groups,find the breakthrough point,and position the furniture design based on the Chinese character elements,propose the furniture design scheme based on the Chinese character elements.Finally,through the analysis of the design elements such as appearance,color,material,etc.of the design scheme,the furniture design practice based on Chinese character elements is carried out.I hope this design can provide a new design idea for Chinese modern furniture,expand the artistic expression of Chinese furniture,so as to better inherit and carry forward the traditional Chinese culture.
