Project management,as an activity for effective management of one-time work,has gradually penetrated into the management activities of all industries in recent years,and is being valued and recognized by more and more people.For the equipment manufacturing industry,the product development projects are the top priority for enterprises to improve their core competitiveness.It has the characteristics of high technical difficulty,strong logical relationship of activities,and many uncertain factors in activities.Traditional equipment manufacturing enterprises generally base their product development on historical experience and do not have corresponding theory to guide them.Lack of attention has been paid to schedule optimization and cost control,which often results in lagging progress and over expenditure.The theory of project schedule and control provides a good execution tool and control method for product development projects,which can not only enhance the competitiveness of enterprises,but also provide a new management idea for enterprises.P series machine tool development project is an important work of Z enterprise in response to the national 13th Five-Year Development Plan and the requirements of "Made in China 2025" plan.It is of great significance for enterprises to enhance product competitiveness in the new situation.How to effectively use the relevant theories and methods of project management,change the empirical and task-based working mode of traditional manufacturing enterprises,and do a good job of project schedule and control is an urgent issue to be studied and solved.Taking the P series machine tool development project of Z enterprise as an example,based on project management theory and related knowledge,explain in detail the application of project schedule and control in the practice of enterprise machine tool development project.Firstly,this paper introduces the general situation of P series machine tool development project in Z enterprise,clarify project objectives and work milestones,specific description of the project,establish project team based on the actual situation of the enterprise and the characteristics of its own project,clarifies the job responsibilities and division of labors,and establishes communication mechanism by using existing technical resources,and provide protection for progress planning and controlling on management.After that,the schedule planning and control process of the machine tool development project is discussed in detail.In the project schedule planning,through the most commonly used WBS task decomposition technology to decompose the project work structure,formulate the project network schedule,identify critical paths and key tasks,and the project schedule is appropriately optimized and adjusted using the minimum cost acceleration method.In the process of implementing the project plan,the dynamic control principle is adopted,and corresponding measures are taken from four aspects of organization,technology,economy and management to effectively control the project.The earned value analysis method is used to analyze the overall progress of the project,a solution is proposed for the cause of the deviation.At last,this paper discusses the possible problems in the project schedule control and the corresponding safeguard measures.
