With the rapid development of polymer chemistry in materials,energy,information and other fields,higher requirements have been put forward for the cultivation of polymer chemistry talents.Under the influence of the existing college entrance examination system and chemistry curriculum reform in China,senior high schools do not attach great importance to polymer chemistry knowledge,and students have different knowledge base of polymer chemistry,which leads to the difficulty of teaching and learning College polymer chemistry course.Therefore,in order to enrich the content and knowledge structure of high school polymer chemistry knowledge,help students smoothly transition from high school chemistry to university polymer chemistry,and cultivate new professional talents of University polymer chemistry,this paper studies the connection between high school and University polymer chemistry teaching.Firstly,through the research on the current situation of polymer chemistry teaching at home and abroad,the problems and research ideas of this paper are put forward.Secondly,taking the high school chemistry textbooks(including 2007 edition and 2019 Edition)of people's education press and polymer chemistry(Fifth Edition)edited by Pan Zuren of Chemical Industry Press as examples,this paper finds out the problems existing in the connection between high school chemistry textbooks and University polymer chemistry textbooks from three aspects:Curriculum standard,knowledge system and knowledge content.Then,questionnaire survey is conducted on high school students and college students,and interviews are conducted on high school teachers and college teachers,in order to find out the problems existing in the connection between students and teachers in the teaching process,as well as teachers' views and suggestions on the connection between high school and college polymer chemistry.Then,under the guidance of pedagogy and psychology theory,the practice of high school teaching convergence is carried out to study the influence of teaching convergence on students'knowledge,attitude and ability.Finally,through the analysis of the problems existing in the teaching cohesion and the reflection of teaching practice,this paper puts forward some suggestions to realize the effective cohesion of teaching from the perspective of teachers,students and teaching materials.The specific conclusions are as follows:(1)There are some problems in the connection.First,senior high school pays attention to the mastery of basic knowledge of polymer chemistry and the cultivation of chemical core literacy,while university polymer chemistry pays attention to the cultivation of students' ability and the improvement of professional quality.Second,the knowledge system of high school and university is completely different.The knowledge arrangement of high school teaching materials is scattered,and the most basic and typical knowledge content is selected.The knowledge system of university teaching materials is systematic and complete,and the polymerization mechanism and dynamics are emphasized on the content.Third,some students still use the learning habits and learning methods of high school after entering the University,lack of learning initiative,which is not suitable for the study of polymer chemistry in University.Fourthly,most teachers do not pay enough attention to the connection of polymer chemistry teaching between high school and University,resulting in the gap of polymer chemistry knowledge between high school and University,and students are prone to fear difficulties after entering university.(2)Teaching practice research shows that,in the high school stage of high school chemistry and University polymer chemistry teaching convergence,to a certain extent,can promote students to master the knowledge and structure of polymer chemistry,improve students' interest and ability,help to improve students' follow-up learning effect of polymer chemistry.
