With the rapid increase of international cooperation projects,China has built many petroleum projects in Africa and Middle East countries in recent years,and most of these projects adopt EPC management mode.As a key link of engineering construction,project management will affect engineering quality,personnel safety,engineering cost and other aspects.If the evaluation of the level of management,find out the problems existing in management.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a research method that can rate the adequacy of management,namely management maturity.Based on the project management maturity,this paper summarizes the research status of project management at home and abroad,and analyzes the commonly used theoretical models of project management.Secondly,this paper compares these commonly used maturity models of project management and selects an appropriate maturity analysis model according to the characteristics of international EPC projects.Using this model,seven experts were hired to evaluate the management of the project.The evaluation scheme contains 10 grass-roots and 40 sub-indexes in total.The grey weight function algorithm is used to comprehensively evaluate the project management maturity of the international petrochemical plant,and suggestions for improvement are put forward according to the evaluation results.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Summarized and analyzed the research status at home and abroad,summed up four common maturity models,and designed the management model hierarchies suitable for international projects according to the existing models,which were primary,experience,intermediate,management and advanced;(2)Based on the CMM evaluation model,the grey whitening weight function algorithm was introduced to establish an evaluation model suitable for analyzing the maturity of international EPC projects;(3)Using expert evaluation method to evaluate construction management maturity Niger petroleum chemical plant,using the new model analysis and calculation,got the project management maturity for the management level,the project in the aspect of quality management and schedule management,and in terms of information exchange and resource planning management.(4)According to the evaluation results,put forward improvement measures from the aspects of project management functions,contents,risk identification and information feedback,so as to provide help for the follow-up work and accelerate the construction efficiency of the project.
