Influenced by the slowdown of global economic growth,worse situation of international trade friction,more perfect environmental regulations,COVID-19 outbreak world-wild etc.The automobile industry of China already presents the negative growth trend,the competition among car producers and auto parts manufacturers become more seriously.In order to stabilize and further expand the market share,every competitive car producer adjust sales strategy in succession.They lower the cost in order to obtain more market sales,this makes car producer and auto parts supplier shrink their profit margins,the cost pressure gradually highlights.In the automobile industry,production materials procurement cost account for 60%-70% of the total cost,thus the production materials purchasing cost directly affects the profit level of the enterprise.In the face of pressure from exterior market and car makers,it is essential for auto parts production enterprises enhance their operating cost management,increase income and reduce expenditure,and aim to improve corporate profit margins.Especially for the management of production materials purchasing,it is critical point for an auto parts supplier.This essay takes Changchun Faway Adient Automotive System Co.,Ltd.,as the research object.Combined with the company's current production materials procurement operation environment and influencing factors,it carries out an in-depth study on the optimization of production materials procurement management of Changchun Faway Adient Automotive System Co.,Ltd.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background and research significance,the research content and methods,the theoretical basis of the research and the review of the research results in domestic and abroad.The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the current situation,existing problems and causes of production materials procurement management problems of Changchun Faway Adient Automotive System Co.,Ltd.The main reasons for the current problems include imperfect procurement management system due to frequent adjustment of management and organizational structure,lack of strategic and flexible supplier selection and management strategy,imperfect procurement management system,insufficient cross-functional cooperation and information sharing.The third chapter puts forward improvement plans and optimization suggestions for the current problems of production materials procurement of Changchun Faway Adient Automotive System Co.,Ltd.The study found that the company urgently needs to optimize the current production materials sourcing process,optimize the supplier selection standard and process,strengthen the procurement contract management,improve the procurement materials receiving and acceptance process etc.The fourth chapter introduces the implementation of production materials management optimization scheme and supporting measures.Through the improvement of purchasing personnel's ability,optimized the purchasing process in further,improved the QAD system information and enhanced the functions of purchasing management system(PMS),SCP system etc.At the same time,strengthening the compliance management of procurement,to realize the work efficiency of procurement and contracting of production materials purchasing cost of Changchun Faway Adient Automotive System Co.,Ltd.,so as to achieve the profit goal of the project,improve the overall operation and management ability of the company,and enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise in the automotive industry.Procurement of production materials is the core of procurement management of a production-oriented enterprise.The fundamental reason is that the purchase amount accounts for a large proportion of the overall purchase amount of the company,and it is closely related to the normal production and operation of the company.Enterprises must attach great importance to production materials purchasing management problems,adjust and optimize the production materials purchasing business process,strengthen the supplier selection and management,enhance the construction of compliance of purchasing work,so as to achieve low-cost business contract,improve the level of corporate profits,make the enterprise stand out in the fierce market competition.
