Research On The Application Of Functionalism In Contemporary Fashion Modeling Design

With the development of society,people have started to pursue more spiritual levels.As a carrier of cultural heritage and fashion benchmarks,clothing has been pushed to the forefront of society,causing people to start to put more demands on clothing functions.Functionalism,which is the core idea of modernist design,is the key to solving this problem.However,at present,there is relatively little involved in functionalism design in the domestic clothing field.There is no systematic theoretical knowledge for designers to use for reference.Carry out clothing design based on functionalist ideas.On the other hand,with the development of science and technology,new scientific theories such as "big data","artificial intelligence","Internet +" have further matured,and a new era with the "German Industry 4.0" as the benchmark has gradually arrived.New theories,new methods,new materials,new craftsmanship and new aesthetics have been formed.This has a great impact on various fields,including clothing in the category,and it triggered a new meaning of "functionalism" in the new era.Based on this,the author conducts research on the application of functionalist design ideas in the field of fashion design.In order to explain how the functionalism is applied in the field of clothing,the author cuts in from the perspective of clothing modeling and conducts an analysis of the thesis.The article conducts research from four aspects.First,it starts with the basic theory and development of functionalism,aims to analyze the connotation and characteristics of functionalism.Secondly,the clothing function research is carried out from three dimensions of human psychological needs,physiological needs,and individual needs;on this basis,the main influencing factors of clothing modeling are external silhouette,internal structure,clothing fabric,and human body Ergonomics,study the analysis of the relationship between clothing function and clothing shape,and then carry out detailed research with typical functional clothing such as baby clothing,fire protection clothing,mountain climbing clothing,Medical protective clothing,etc.Third,based on the research results of the second step,carry out research on the methods of functionalist clothing modeling design,and gradually figure out how to transform from clothing functions to clothing modeling.Fourth,based on the research results of the third step,guide the practical functionalist clothing creation.In this paper,through the combination of theoretical analysis research and practical creation,the in-depth analysis and research of functionalist design thoughts are clarified,the connotation and characteristics of functionalist design thoughts are clarified,and the methods of fashion design based on functionalist design thoughts.Finally,the actual creation usually confirms the research results of this article,and provides a certain theoretical basis and basis for future fashion designers to carry out functionalist fashion design.
