As an important part of the northern ethnic group,Mongolian occupies an important position.Among the Northern Mongolian tribes,Buryat tribe,as a special Mongolian tribe,is a cross-border ethnic group distributed in Russia,Mongolia and China.Buryat Mongolian costume contains the long history and grassland nomadic culture.The development,enrichment and perfection of Buryat Mongolian costume is under the joint action of lifestyle,natural environment and historical conditions.Buryat Mongolians live in East and West Sumu of the Xini River,Ewenki Autonomous Banner,Hulunbuir region,China.This ethnic group is a cross-border ethnic group,whose history,customs,culture and clothing are all influenced by foreign cultures.The interaction between foreign culture and costume culture of neighboring ethnic minorities,a set of relatively mature traditional clothing culture system has been formed.Furthermore,due to the influence of geographical environment and nomadic culture,Buryat Mongolians regard robes as their main clothing,like other northern minorities in China.Nowadays,Buryats still retain their original characteristics of animal husbandry in terms of production and lifestyle.The robe culture is not only in line with the Mongolian traditional robe,but also retains its distinctive tribal features derived from cross-border cultural integration.This paper takes the Buryat Mongolian robe as the object,studies the modeling design from specific shape of costumes.Through the study on making robes of unmarried and married women,this paper studies and analyzes the changes of their costumes from ethnic history.Combined with the traditional Buryat marriage culture,this paper makes a theoretical analysis on the cultural and aesthetic aspects of the two kinds of woman's robes,and provides a theoretical support for the preservation of Buryat in China.
