With the deepening of the population aging and the improvement of living standards and selfawareness,the demand for products of middle-aged and elderly people has gradually upgraded from the needs of material functions to the needs of spiritual experience,and the need for comfort has been gradually valued,which has greatly promoted the development of the aging industry.With the government's strong support for sports and fitness for the elderly,middle-aged and elderly people have become the main group of national fitness national fitness.In the sports fitness of the elderly,protective gear is one of the important supplies to ensure healthy sports,and its comfort is an important basis for judging the quality of the product experience.At the same time,during the exercise,the knee joint is an extremely important and relatively fragile and easily injured part in sports.Therefore,this subject will take sports knee pads as an example to carry out research on the comfort design of sports protective gear.It has great practical significance to guide middleaged and elderly people to ensure comfortable and healthy sports.Comfort research involves knowledge in the fields of ergonomics,psychophysiology,sociology,and phenomenology.This article researches and analyzes the factors related to the comfort of sports knee pads from three aspects: human,product,user-product interaction and comfort.Through theoretical research,in-depth interviews,and field tests,to analyze the factors related to the comfort of sports knee pads,and the six sports knee pads of contact comfort,thermal comfort,operation comfort,size comfort,structural comfort,and visual comfort were determined.Comfort evaluation index to establish a comfort evaluation system for sports knee pads.Based on this system,the comfort evaluation and needs analysis of sports knee pads are carried out,and the design strategy and optimal schemes of sports knee pads are proposed to provide directional guidance for the comfort design of sports knee pads.
